Wanda’s Kitchen..Peanut Butter Playdough

Wanda’s Kitchen is a weekly post dedicated to my Mom. She was a contibuting foods editor to our local newsapaper and to HomeLife Magazine. Mom went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2009

Today I have babies on my mind. Imagine that?

If you’ve haven’t heard my daughter is expecting and we are thrilled! I love that belly!!!

Yesterday we spent the day shopping for baby stuff. We’re not going too crazy yet…….but it’s hard!

Courtney and Chris have also bought their first home and they’ll be moving in the next few weeks. I can’t wait to show you some pictures!

Now for the recipe I wanted to share with you.

This is something Mom made for her grandchildren many times.

The weather is starting to warm up and children are wanting to get outside. But sometimes Spring rains can keep us inside, so this is a great treat to make.

Peanut Butter Playdough

Just mix 1/2 cup of honey with 2 cups of peanut butter.

Gradually add powdered milk until it is the consistency of playdough.

Your children can create and nibble at the same time!

How fun is that? I know I’ll be using this recipe in the next few years. 🙂

Food For Thought:

All things bright and beautiful,

All creatures great and small,

All things wise and wonderful,

The Lord God made them all.

  1. Cyndi….what a sweet time in life this is for you and your daughter!!! Absolutely wonderful.

You know how you keep growing in the Lord and He shows you something new that you didn’t know about or understand???
Well, you are about to get a treat that will make your eyes sparkle and put a grin on your chin! Becoming a momma is one thing, but being a grandma will take you by surprise….it’s life changing for sure and you’ll love this.

    God bless,
