We Are Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

Dear Colt Allen,

I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are today!

We have waited 9 long months for your arrival

and today is the day we finally meet you.

I hope someday you will know that you were hand picked by God

to be a part of this family and what a family we are!

I’m sure we’ll scare you a little at first but I promise you’ll

get use to us.

You’re going to love your mommy and daddy!

They have worked so hard to get everything ready for you.

Go easy on them, they are extremely nervous but they love

you so much and more importantly they both love Jesus.

Oh my, I can’t wait to tell you about Jesus!

He created you and he has a plan and a purpose for your life.

Your Cici is madly in love with Him and I’ve lived long

enough to know I can’t live a moment without Him.

There’s so much I want to share with you about Jesus but most

importantly He loves you Colt Allen.

See you in a few hours!

Love you, love you, love you!

Cici

“For you created my inmost being;

 you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful,

I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you

when I was made in the secret place,

when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body;

all the days ordained for me were written in your book

before one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:13-16

  1. Hello there, I ventured over to your blog Cici from Traci’s, after spotting her link on another page, got caught up with your newest family member and just sat down for the evening (I’m in England) and popped on to see if there is news yet. I wanted to wish Courtney and Chris the very best wishes as they embark on this journey of parenthood and hope baby Colt Allen has a safe arrival into this world. I hope you enjoy all the joy that comes with being a grandmmother, I shall enjoy reading I’m sure. Love and best wishes from across the pond.

  4. We got together and prayed for you all this morning. I wish you could have heard Adam pray for Colt. It made me cry….so sweet when one little one prays for another. Can’t wait to hear the news! Lisa~
