5 Things I Love About Fall

Fall has certainly arrived in Kentucky!

We’ve had cooler mornings and evenings and

a few more rainy, cloudy days.

I’m trying not to lament summer too much so I’ve decided

to remind myself of the things I love about Fall.

So here’s my list:

1. I love the changing leaves.

Driving around Kentucky, especially the horse farms,

over the next few months is absolutely breathtaking.

2. I love me some comfy foods.

This is a Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding  I shared on my blog several months ago.

If you would like the recipe,  you can find it here. D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!

3. I love decorating during this time of year!

This is my front porch last year. This year I have my wreath hung and that’s it.

A certain baby boy has been taking a lot of my time!

4. I love the smells of Fall.

Pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon, yum, yum.

This is hands down my favorite fall candle, Cinnamon Cider by Aromatique.

It smells scrumptious!

5. I love heading to a Fall Festival.

My whole family loves to meet at a Pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin,

we drink some apple cider and spend the day together!

I hope you’ll find some time to enjoy this Fall season!

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything,

in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  1. I love

    Love

LOVE fall! It’s my favorite season. It’s funny, though–I haven’t done much fall decorating yet, either! And I don’t have a little Colt Allen to take up my time–I’ve just been super-busy this September. Ah, well. I’ll get my pumpkins out soon. 🙂

  2. Enjoyed your writing today-always do, my dear- love everything about fall too “except” what follows it my dear one?
How Royce and I will handle “winter” this year-no sure? You will have to keep us tucked deep in prayer often as been about 18 years since spent entire winter in “cold”. Can see lots of hot cocoa coming.

  3. I love fall as well! We don’t get many outward shows of the change of seasons over here in Texas so I love those fall scented candles and Scentsy-type things as well as the decor. Your bread pudding looks yummy – can’t wait to try that!

    Blessings –
