Must Have Fashions For the Fall/Winter Season

I love to look at fashion trends for the current season. Magazines and blogs are all sharing their must haves for the Fall/Winter season. Let’s be honest, there’s NOTHING we HAVE to have. Fashion trends come and go and I can’t change my whole wardrobe with every season. But I do like to update my wardrobe with a few of the current trends.

It’s hard for me to believe we get our fashion trends from the New York runway models. Some of them scare me~~~~

I’m just sayin’~~~

Who wears that stuff?

I’m a wife, and a mother (ahem, and a grandmother) and I need practical fashion that works with my busy lifestyle. Thankfully there are some accessories that we can add to our wardrobe that will help us look and feel great.

One of my favorite accessories is shoes. Oh my I love them! This season the wedge heel is popular and there are so many to pick from. I recently bought these brown wedges from Target and I paid $25 for them.

I love my black boots I got last year at T.J. Maxx (my favorite store).

I don’t remember how much I paid for them but I’m sure I got them at a good price (of course boots are a popular trend this season too!).

Stop by tomorrow and I’ll share more of my favorite fashion trends.

What’s your favorite fashion accessory this season?

Beauty for the Heart~~It’s Thanksgiving week! I have so many things that I’m thankful for but more than anything, I’m thankful for Jesus. I’m thankful that he loves and forgives a sinner like me! But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

  1. TJ Maxx, Marshalls are my favorite stores to find great bargains on beautiful clothes and shoes. Love finding bargains.

  2. Cyndi – Love the wedges and the boots. Where did you find your jumper? It is so pretty – I have been looking for one. Love the way you are tying in spiritual life and fashion. I believe the Lord made us all beautiful inside and out and we should always try to look out best. Btw I’m a grandma too X2 I have a 3 year old granddaughter and 2 month old grandson and they are sooo precious. There’s nothing like the feeling I get from sugars and hugs from my sweet girl. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving. – Marsha

  3. Love the fashion/beauty info and especially the application to our spiritual life! Thank you for your great blog! I really love using scarfs to update my clothing. They are inexpensive and can be used many ways.

  4. Love to wear boots. You can get away with unpedicured toes, and you don’t have to worry about runs in hose or tights! Oh, yes, they’re warm too! Be careful about flat ones with slick bottoms, though. I slipped and fell and broke my knee cap a few years ago in a pair like that. I love your outfit with the boots! Looks great!
