Good Morning and Happy Cyber Monday! I feel the sudden urge to order something online just to say I was a part of the big day. It’s estimated that over $1 billion dollars will be spent on Cyber Monday. Are you kidding me??

Well, I don’t have any great cyber deals to tell you about today but I do have some amazing lipstick to share with you. I don’t know about you but I look better with a touch of color on my lips. The only problem is I don’t like having to reapply it every hour just to get the look I want.
Revlon has a liquid lipstick that stays on ALL day. Now that’s my kind of lipstick!

I have wore all day lipsticks before but they dried my lips out so bad that I couldn’t wear them. Because this one has a conditioning topcoat it keeps my lips moisturized. I also put lip balm on my lips at night before I go to bed especially at this time of year.
Tip: The color I like is Iconic Iris but I noticed it looked a little too pink for this season so I added a plum lip liner. I bought Maybelline Color Sensation Lip Liner.
So if you need to change the color of your lipstick try adding a lighter or darker shade of lip liner. It works great!

Beauty For the Heart: With the holidays in full swing it’s easy to think we need to buy and buy and buy and buy. But truthfully most of us have more than we need. I love this reminder from Matthew 6: 19-21, “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be”. Today store up treasures in heaven by spending time in God’s word. Believe me that will be better than any Cyber Monday deal you can find!

Mary Kay lipstick. I apply in the morning and somehow it lasts all day. It seems that lip liner is out of favor these days but I think it is essential. It has also taken me forever to change over to the lighter, more natural lip colors. I fear I have been stuck in the dark colors of the 90s (or was it the 80s?) 🙂
I love Mac Viva Glam 5. I think that’s how you spell it! I also like Mary Kay lipstick. Have used both for years!

I have a Smashbox fat pencil with lip color on one end and lip liner on the other. The color is Amaretto…it’s gorge! Loved the verse and love The Word!
Oh I do have some really great lip glosses that are Revlon. 🙂
I typically use Avon lipstick and love it. But I think my favorite is Merle Norman’s lipstick pencils. I can’t think what they are called right now, but it is a fat pencil and at one end it is a liner and the other end is lipstick. I love it!!
