BlissDom bound and a Giveaway!

Good morning!

I’m so excited today to be partnering with Centrum vitamins for their Nutrition Possible promotion.

You probably know that I’ve been trying to work on a healthier lifestyle.

The makers of Centrum multivitamins is introducing a new website called NutritionPossible.com that offers trusted information from health sources, nutrition experts and guided information through a unique self-assessment tool-for free! (I’m all about free!)

Navigating the supplement aisle can be confusing and choosing the right foods to make sure you’re getting everything in your diet can be challenging.

NutritionPossible.com was created to make nutrition information easy to access and understand. (Yeah!)

Everyone is different and our lives and needs are constantly evolving, so NutritionPossible.com provides tools and information to help you sort through the abundance of information and figure out what’s right for you.

For instance, I don’t eat a lot of fruit. I wish I did, but I don’t ever crave them. So my assessment included adding ProNutrients Fruit and Veggie to my daily regimen.

I didn’t even know they had this! I’ve already bought some to try.

*Now for the Giveaway*

Here’s all you need to do to be entered in the $25 AMEX (american express) gift card:

Take the assessment at NutritionPossible.com (when you get there just click the get started button) and come back and let me know what you’re lacking. That’s it!!

The assessment only takes a few minutes (you don’t have to create an account, unless you want them to save your information).

Okay here’s why I’m begging asking you to do this. At the end of this month, I’m heading to a blogging conference called BlissDom.

The blogger who receives the most entries will win a BlissDom’12 prize package which includes $200 for your conference pass and $300 toward your travel expenses.

Attending a blogger conference is expensive (unless you have a sponsor like Centrum) and I could use the financial help.

So would you please help me and take the assessment? I would really appreciate it!

I am participating in a sponsored campaign hosted by One2One Network. I received incentives and am eligible for prizing. While all opinions stated are my own, I make no claims about NutritionPossible.com as a product or its effectiveness.

This giveaway will end Friday, February 10th at 9:00 pm (EST). Rules for the Giveaway.

Beauty For the Heart~~Every morning when my alarm goes off I immediately say Psalm 118:24, I paraphrase it like this, “Lord this is the day that you have made, let me rejoice and be glad in it!

And then I ask him to let my words and my actions glorify Him. I want to begin my day (before I ever get out of bed) surrendering to Jesus.

  1. Multivitamin: age & gender adjusted
    Phytonutrients
    Omega-3
    Fiber
Fiber Suggested daily dosage range: 25-30 grams per day total from diet/supplements
    Vitamin D

  2. “No suggestions.” Apparently I do not need to take any vitamins because I am super healthy and all that?! 🙂

  3. I need it all! I am terrible about taking vitamins, and vitamins, especially calcium is so important as we age! So…my results were a multivitamin, omega 3’s, phytonutrients, fiber, and of course, calcium.

Hope we’re sending you on your way, Cyndi! God bless you!

  4. I did it, but it didn’t come up with any suggestions. I am sure something is wrong because I was HONEST and said I only drink 3-4 glasses of water a day and exercise 2x a week. 🙂

I hope you win! In faith, I am going to say “Have a great time at Blissdom!”

  5. I need a multivitamin, phytonutrients, omega-3, fiber and Vitamin D. . . . . oh my!!!!! Maybe this little assessment is just what I needed to hear, sounds like I need to make a few changes in my diet.

  6. The first time I took it, the results were blank so I updated it and it says I need a multivitamin, Omega-3, and Vitamin D.

    Good luck on the contest!

  7. I took the assessment and it says that I lack enough whole grains. I was surprised because I thought I was taking in enough whole grains but I guess not. Good to know. Thanks for the giveaway.

  9. Hi Cindi, I just took the health quiz, but had no suggestions on supplements, foods, lifestyle nor exercise. Guess I’m too perfect? 😀 Visiting at the suggestion of your Sister Traci. I have the same kind of relationship with my Sister as do you. So Lucky and Blessed. Good Luck in the contest. Linda S. in NE

  10. No surprise, I need more friut & veggies! I eat WAY more when they come out of my own garden in the summer.

  11. Took the assessment and found that I need a multivitamin. I should have known that. So, off to Wal Mart I go. Thanks and Good Luck!

  12. Yay! I’m not lacking in anything! I read a lot about nutrition & health & try to follow recommendations, so I already knew what to eat, etc.

    Thanks for the giveaway contest!

  13. It told me I need more calcium which isn’t surprising since I don’t drink a lot of milk thank you!

  17. I took it the first time and it didn’t have suggestions until I logged in, so I had to go back and retake it again, but it was worth it….I hope you win! It said I needed more omega 3 and of course more exercise. LOL It also said that I should nap- I love that suggestion!

  18. Said I need more fish and napping! Your sister sent me here…but I was already following you because of your sister! Have fun together!

  20. The assessment didn’t have any suggestions for me. I hope that you win and have a safe and wonderful trip!! I follow Traci’s blog 🙂

  21. Took your survey and other than a vitamin supplement … no other suggestions. I’m thinking I read the results wrong. Haha. Good luck with your contest!

  22. Hey Cyndi! Traci says I must help you so here i am! i took the test but it did not come up with anything I was lacking. Yay! Good luck with your contest, glad I could help! Have a wonderful time at your conference and May God Bless!

  27. Hey, I liked this test, said I didn’t need anything…woot woot!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

  28. I finished the questions but it has no suggestions for me! Impossible. I eat what I’m supposed to but I’m
never able to find time to exercise. I also indulge in sweets. Isn’t there a vitamin to ward off junk food???

    Good Luck Cyndi!!

  29. The had no suggestions for me, lol. I’m a lost cause!! Oh well that’s okay, I’m going to the gym and eating better so I think I have a few years left. Good luck with the contest. I hope I helped!

  30. I answered all the questions and it said there were no suggestions for me (looking above, I must not be the only one beyond hope.. LOLOL!!) Traci sent me over – love your blog and good luck on winning!! 🙂

  31. I’m eating low carbs right now so I need everything as well plus exercise. Good luck!! Hope you win and have a great time at Blissdom with your sister.:-)

  32. Good Luck! I know I need it since I’m lacking in fruits, vegetables, water, exercise and sleep! Good grief!

  33. Good luck!
    I need everything!
More real food, a multivitamin, calcium and fiber.
And I need to work out, and add walking.
Good grief, I am a mess!

  34. Hey Cyndi! What an interesting survey! Thanks for the link! It told me that I was lacking in Phytonutrients. I know that I don’t get enough fruits/veggies in my diet since I’m dieting and trying to cut way back on food in general. So this was good to know. Hope you make it to Blissdom! I heard that it’s truly a blessing to be there!

    xoxo laurie

  35. Well, I know I need something, but I guess I am just too much of a quandary. It told me my plan was complete, but it had no suggestions yet! 🙂

    Misty

  36. I took the survey and it said they didn’t have a plan for me? Must have done something wrong but I answered all the questions. Oh well. Hope it goes well for you 🙂 Love your blog.

  37. I took the survey but my results were: “We don’t have any supplement suggestions for you.” I’m not sure why, I’m not pregnant & I know I sure need to live/eat more healthy. Maybe I was so bad there’s no help for me! LOL!!!

I hope you & Traci have a great time at Blissdom & thanks so much for sharing…..hope you win!

  38. Looks like I need to eat more fish! So Omega 3 was the suggestion! I really enjoy your blog – good luck, hope you win the trip!

  39. I was given no suggestions (I am pregnant, so I think I disqualified myself before the survey started)!

  40. Mine says that I need a Multivitamin: energy specific and Phytonutrients. Guess I need that last one because I cut out my sugar intake and it includes fruit. Nice to know there is a way to get the benefits with out the added sugar to my system 🙂

  41. Lacking exercise….. surprise!! Love your blog and look forward to reading each day! We Ky gals have to stick together 🙂

  42. What a great tool! Mine encouraged a multi-vitamin, which I take, but also Omega 3 and Fiber. Definately something to look into! Good luck Cindi!

  43. It said it didn’t have suggestions for me, but if I were to guess, I think I’m probably lacking in the vegetable department.

  44. I need a multi-vitamin also….phytonutrients, omega-3, probiotics, fiber, and vitamin D. All those suggestions are probably due to the fact that I picked digestive health and complexion for my two areas to assess. I have been obsessed with digestive health lately and have been eating more whole grains. 🙂

Thanks for the giveaway. I hope you win!

  45. I took the assessment and it told me it didn’t have any suggestions for me. I’m sure I’m lacking in plenty areas, so it must be a glitch. Have a wonderful time with your sister at the conference!

  46. I didn’t have any recommendations which means one of two things: I must be kidding myself as to what foods I’m actually eating OR there’s no hope. 🙂 I hope you win!

  47. No recommendations for me. I just started a weight loss and exercise program Jan 1st. So far it appears I am doing everything correctly and have lost 20 pounds.

So nice to see you and your sister are friends too!

  48. Hi 🙂 I took the assessment and was surprised to find that they said “we don’t have any suggestions for you yet.” Hmmm. I guess maybe the healthy eating habits I adopted a few months ago were a good idea! 🙂 Overall it’s a good thing, but I know there are a few areas I need to do better in, mainly exercise.

Good luck with the contest! I sure hope you win!!!!

  49. I found I was lacking in sleep and excercise. (Not a surprise since I have 4 kids and a husband deployed to Afghanistan : ) Hope you win!

  50. I took the assessment, but it said at the end “We don’t have any supplement suggestions for you. However most of the time I eat really good, but my biggest lack is exercise.

  51. I enjoyed taking the test…interesting facts about myself. Seems as if I am lacking in a lot of areas, need more beans, fish and low fat calcium products. Hmmm….now to see that what I can do to change that!
Oh, yes I also liked the fact that web md helped with the diagnosis!

  52. Hope you win! I took the assessment but it never loaded my recommendations. I will re-take it. I’ve taken a Centrum multi-vitamin for years and as I age more and more other things are being added but I never know if what I’m doing is correct. Bet I’ll need to take the Fruit and Veggie one too…..I’m like you and do not crave fruit. Thanks for sharing this. Good Luck!!

  53. Traci sent me over…sister loyalty is a wonderful thing! 🙂 My recommendations were multi-vitamin (which I take) the Phytonutrients (which I wasn’t aware that they made), and the Omega3…which I won’t take until someone invents one that doesn’t leave a “fishy” taste! ugh…but I digress :0 Hope you win, good luck!

  54. I would love to help you get to Blissdom! I took the survey and here are the recommendations:
MultiVitamin – I don’t eat enough fruits or veggies.
    Phytonutrients
    Omega-3’s
    Fiber
    Vitamin D

  55. Mine said that they didn’t have any supplement suggestions??? That is odd, since I always feel that I don’t eat all that well. Maybe they just gave up on me! Hope you get to Blissdom and if I win the gift card, you can keep it and put it towards your trip!!!

  56. Hi Cyndi!
    good luck!
    according to the assessment,
I don’t eat enough fruits and veggies,
    nor beans and rice..
and should be including BREAD in my diet!
According to me..I eat what I need..
    when I am hungry!
at 5’2”, there is no need to be eating like a football player!!
plus they say i need a multi vitamin..
    I already take Centrum Silver!!
    warmest hugs!
    Loui♥
Now I really could use that Amex card!!
    make me a winner!!

  57. Mine said I need more Fruits and Veggies which does not suprise me. Until I get myself to get the full servings from the real thing I will take ProNutrients Fruit and Veggie! Thanks for the idea.
    Good Luck!

  58. I took it twice and both times it said I hadn’t taken it! Oh well, sorry. i guess i must either need everything or nothing! teresa

  59. I need a multivitamin, omega-3 and phytonutrients. And I need to drink more water, but I already knew that!

  60. I need a multi vitamin for energy, salmon and
artichoke hearts in my diet. Yum! Good to know
and a fun way to learn!! Thanks!

  61. I am lacking calcium fiber omega 3 and i need a multi vitamin wow that would be a lot of pills!

  62. Thanks for the info regarding the assessment. Yes, I need to take the Multivitamin. I have been juicing, using carrots, beets and blending the juice in with my smoothie, using frozen fruit. A good way for me to get my veggies and fruit servings. I just close my eyes when drinking the smoothie; sometimes it is too green or too red…

  63. I took the assessment, but it said at the end “We don’t have any supplement suggestions for you”??? I do eat healthy and I am a nursing mother, which, when I answered that question about being pregnant or nursing, they said I should consult with my dr before taking supplements, so maybe that is why it didn’t suggest anything.

  64. I need more fruits, veggies, beans and water. I think the Pro-Nutrients may be the way to go. If I tried to eat everything you’re supposed to in a day I would gain weight.

  65. Interesting activity. My suggestions were to take an Energy & Metabolism supplement and to also add Omega 3 and more exercise. Getting/staying healthy is one of my big priorities right now. Thanks – love your blog.

  66. That was quick and easy! I need a Multivitamin Energy Specific, Fiber, Omega-3 and Phytonutrients. I need to kick up my healthy eating habits especially now that I’m starting to work out.

  67. My assessment said “energy specific multivitamin” phytonutrients, which is what they recommended for you and to eat more fish. Thanks for posting this it was interesting

  68. Interesting assessment. Mine said: multivitamin, Omega 3 and fiber. I already take the first two, but I’m going to look into a fiber supplement now. Thanks!

  69. That was really a good assessment. Mine said Multivitamin – Energy & Metabolism and to also add Omega 3.

Thanks for such a good blog. I found you through your sister’s blog and love your fashion and make-up tips. I’m not yet to my goal weight (working hard on it), but your fashion articles help keep me motivated to get to my goal and purchase a great new wardrobe. In the meantime I am having fun with the accessories you mention – bags, scarves, etc.
