Since the weather is warming up, it’s pedicure time ladies!
If you’re starting to wear those cute sandals, then pretty toes are a must.
Whether you do your own pedicure, or you head out and get a professional pedicure, it’s always nice to know the latest color trends.
This season OPI celebrates color with the Holland Collection for Spring/Summer 2012.
Inspired by the country’s range of stunning shades – as seen in vivid tulips, windmill-dotted hillsides and bustling canals – the collection’s twelve shades offer a mixture of sophisticated neutrals and highly-pigmented brights.
These colors will not disappoint!
My favorites are~~
- A Roll In The Hague
- Kiss Me On My Tulips
- Red Lights Ahead…Where?
If you like a more natural look, this color is perfect~
- Did You Hear About Van Gogh?
So what do you think? I can’t wait to try them out!
Do you do your own pedicures or do you pay someone to do your pedicures for you?
Beauty For the Heart~~I have shared with you before how much I love poems. Without a doubt this is my favorite one!
It’s written my Beth Moore:
Let me be known by the company I keep,
By the One who determines each day that I greet.
From the moment I wake til He rocks me to sleep,
Let me be known by the company I keep.
Let me be known by the company I keep,
When the valleys are low and the mountains are steep.
By the One who holds fast when swift waters are deep,
Let me be known by the company I keep.
Let me be know by the company I keep,
By the One who implores me to sit at His feet,
And quickens my soul to discern what is deep,
Let me be known by the company I keep.
Let me be known by the company I keep,
Eclipsed by Your presence that I may decrease.
Til all You have chosen this travel to meet,
No longer see me but the company I keep.
Isn’t that what we want ladies? To spend so much time with Jesus that people don’t see us, they see Him.
“He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so.]” John 3:30 AMP
I’ve never had a professional pedicure yet! I do love those new Holland polishes by OPI, though!!
I get a professional pedi during all warm months but give the toes a break during the winter. I prefer
to do my own nails with a clear polish or nude shade. The acrylic nails do to
much damage to my nails.
I went to get my hair cut and highlighted today and most everyone had their sandals on so even though it is March here in Atlanta I will be getting my pedi real soon, like next week! It seems like when you get a little bit older professional pedis are a must. When I was younger I could get away with doing it myself and it still looked good. Not anymore ;(
Love that poem!! And thanks for sharing the new spring/summer OPI line!! I was just looking at my toes yesterday thinking that I need to add some color!! Might have to try those out!!
Oh, friend… You are a woman after my own heart. My toes are tended to and painted summer, winter, spring and fall. Thankfully, here in Dallas, I can wear peep toes in December:)))
I pay for a pedi about 4 times a year. In between, the toes start looking bad. I have trouble reaching my toes close enough to paint them! Obviously could use more stretching exercises!
I’ve never had a professional pedi, I always do my own. That way I can change the colors often!! 🙂 Can’t wait for warmer weather to get the sandals out!!
Love the poem by Beth Moore, she is my favorite woman speaker! I like the blue color on the end of the first row, and am thinking about getting a blue dress I saw for Easter Sunday. I go faithfully once a month to get a pedi and I LOVE it!
