Let’s Talk Nails Again!

Woo hoo it’s Friday! Traci is coming over today to work on my laundry room.

It’s finally starting to come together and we’re both loving it.

Here’s a sneak peek at some things we found at Home Goods~~

My husband and I were at Lowe’s last night picking some stuff up for our laundry room

and he said, “I thought Traci was supposed to be doing this laundry room.”

I told  him, “You get what you pay for!” Haha!

While my sister is working on my laundry room today, I’m going to go get my nails done. Kidding!!

After she leaves, I’m going to get my nails done. I have several things going on this

month so I’d like my nails to look nice.

The best part is, I’ve found something new I want to try and I can’t wait

to share it with you!

We’ve talked about acrylic nails, and gel nails. The last time I was at the nail salon I saw

someone getting their nails done with the Signature Nail System.

I wrote the name down and came home and googled it to find out more information.

Signature Nail Systems almost sounds too good to be true.

Signature Nail Systems provides all organic nail care products, natural and healthy to your real nails.

No odor, no liquid, no primer, no UV light, much thinner than other products, and light weight.

So, if all goes well, I’ll be sharing a picture and more information with you tomorrow.

I don’t normally post on Saturday but I want you to see the finished look.

Make sure you stop by tomorrow!

What are your plans this weekend, do you have any DIY projects going on?

Beauty For the Heart~~I wonder how many of you are tired and worn out today.

Maybe it’s work, or children, or maybe you’re a caregiver to a sick family member.

Life can overwhelm us but thankfully Jesus is always here to give us strength.

Isaiah 40:29-31 says, He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength

to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. But those who

wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Praying you will find rest in Him today!

  1. I will be spending my weekend by having a yard sale and working on home improvement projects with my husband. Can’t wait to see the finished laundry room and that bible verse is one of my favorites 🙂

  2. Can’t wait to see your laundry room Cyndi… we need inspiration for ours –heehee! My hard-working husband is going to work on putting up the backsplash in our kitchen. It’s supposed to be a rainy, wet weekend so looking forward to staying in allllll weekend with my little family. Turn the fireplace on and maybe curl up with a good book. Have a great weekend too… esp. a blessed Sunday 🙂 lots of love!

  3. Can’t wait to see the laundry room; the bird picture is so cute! Just this week I had my gels nails soaked off and got on the shellac bandwagon. I loved my gel nails because they were so strong and looked nice (always did the french). My real nails are not so pretty but this is probably the healthier way to go. Anxious to hear how your new manicure works out. One more thing…your verse of the day is one of my absolute favorites. It has particular meaning to me and whenever I read it it always takes me back to the person who shared it with me and reminds me of how God graciously brought me out of a storm. Okay, done jabbering now.

  4. Cyndi – Is there a salon near Danville or Harrodsburg that offers the services? I recently took off my acrylics and would like to try something new. Thanks! Have a great weekend.
