Good morning!
I hope your Mother’s Day was wonderful and you were able to spend some
time with your family.
I had a great Mother’s day even though the weather wasn’t the best.
It was cool and rainy. Yuck!
After church we went to the Beaumont Inn for lunch. It’s becoming a Mother’s day
tradition and I love it.
If you are ever in this area, you need to stop by and visit the Beaumont Inn.
It’s beautiful and historic!
Courtney and I love the food and the atmosphere. Of course we have to
have coffee with dessert.
Courtney got me this adorable wrapped canvas of Colt Allen for Mother’s day.
Best. gift. ever!
After lunch my Dad and I met my sister at Mom’s grave and we planted flowers (in the rain).
This is also becoming a tradition for us and although I miss my Mom, I enjoy visiting
her grave and planting flowers for her on Mother’s day.
My son was supposed to meet me for dinner, but on his way he got behind a wreck and
they shut the interstate down for twelve hours. I only got to talk to him on the phone.
I thought of so many of you, who have lost your Mom’s and I know how difficult
Mother’s day can be.
I pray in the midst of missing your Mom you were still able to celebrate.
I celebrated my Mom’s life and the legacy she has left me and I pray I can pass
that legacy down to my children and grandchildren.
Thanks for stopping by!
I’d love to hear from you. What did you do to celebrate Mother’s day?
Oh my, an adorable little guy AND a bunny? What a great gift!
Glad you enjoyed your day!
Thanks Gail! I’m glad you had a great Mother’s day. If you come to the Beaumont Inn, let me know and we can meet for lunch.
Blessings,
Cyndi
Hey Cyndi, I always think of you and Traci on Mother’s Day because of all the things you say about your mom (actually pray for you). I’m glad you had a good day. I did too! Hannah and Sarah cooked lunch for me! I’m gonna have to try out Beaumont Inn!
