Fashionable Christmas-Riding Boots

12 Day To A More Fashionable Christmas

Day 7 of 12 days to a more Fashionable Christmas and it’s Boots, Boots, & Boots! One thing that I’ve noticed is how many women are wearing riding boots. I see them everywhere and I don’t have a pair……yet!

I’m planning to snag a pair during all the after Christmas sales. But if you can’t wait or are wanting to buy a pair as a gift, these are some great looks.

Skechers Women’s Navajos Structure Riding Boot in Black, and Nine West Women’s Shiza Knee-High Boot shown in brown.

Jessica Simpson Women’s JS-Beatricy Riding Boot, Aerosoles Women’s With Pride Knee-High Boot and Aerosoles With Pride Womens Tall Boots all shown in brown.

I think riding boots are my favorite fashionable trend for the season! I hope I can find a pair after the Christmas season.

Do you like this look? Do you have a pair of riding boots?

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments and look forward to reading them everyday!

  1. Just as a head’s up—I am involved deeply in the horse industry (i own a boarding stable and have been riding for 17+ years)—anyone who wears boots that are supposed to look like riding boots, look ridiculous. How, you ask? Well, would a football player wear his cleats off the field as a fashion statement? How about a hockey player wear pads outside the rink? Get my point? Riding boots are considered part of our equipment. They’re expensive (for good quality ones) and -ridiculously hard to get on and off. Along with the fact that their appearance in the show ring MUST be flawless-usually meaning a good deal of time polishing and cleaning. Anyone who actually DOES have a real pair would never ever ever ever wear them ‘just for funsies’. So… us horse-people KNOW what you’re wearing is fake–and it looks ridiculous. So trying to ‘look the part’ will make us laugh. Most of the ones you purchase also have a zipper on the inside of the calf. No person who rides (regardless of discipline) would buy a pair like this. Why? Damages your saddle and hurt your horse!

  2. I love riding boots! I finally broke down and bought a black pair. One thing I noticed when I was looking them is that there are some that can go all-purpose and others that are particularly heavy looking. Some of them have heavy lug soles and big thick straps. I was looking for something with a bit of hardware, but not strictly an over the jean boot.

  3. I LOVE riding boots…I have one pair from Target in a cognac color and a brown pair from Belk (black Friday deal). I NEED a black pair! I can chase my kids and still feel fashionable!!!

  4. I have both black & brown and love them both. I however do not wear my jeans tucked in like I wish I could. I am almost 50 and feel funny doing that…I am thinking that might be for the younger…and more thin!!

  5. I bought a pair like these about a month ago and would wear them everyday if they were appropriate with every outfit. So comfortable. Yay!!!

  6. I have the last pair of Aerosoles from last year. I do love them as I am not a high heel person. Haven’t worn them too much. I don’t really have pants to go with them. I have a pair of jeans but would like to find something like a skinny yoga pant type of material pants…not sure they even make that! Not into leggings because of the cling but I do love my yoga pants. The boots are comfortable and I hope to get more wear this year. I also bought mine after Christmas sale last year.

  7. I absolutely love this style of boots. I always have. I am so thrilled for this style to happen when I am in my forties. I actually have the 2nd Aerosoles and I am in love with them. I can’t believe I am wearing pants stuffed in boots but I am and I have to watch that I don’t do it every day…lol Love what you do! Thanks! Merry Christmas!
