  1. Well, I don’t care if they’re out of style next year. I’ve been wearing my mom’s for ages, but I’ve always incorporated vintage items into my look. Mine are similar to the first and third. They were hand sewn in India with beautiful real silver metallic embroildery. I’ve always worn them with plain tops or dresses to add a bit of pizzaz one of which is an old BR silver bodysuit like the one you show. I will have to try them with jeans.
It’s nice to be in style for a while anyway, even if this look has taken 50 years to come back around. I guess it took at least that long for lace collars to come back in. (I did that one too, but with old victorian collars).
You should get one. Thanks for posting.

  2. Oh wow! Those collar necklaces are beautiful. My favorite is the very first one, the black with rhinestones. Lovely.

  3. Hey Cyndi!

I just bought a collar necklace at Kohl’s the other day. It was on clearance! It is black and gold, and I plan to wear it this week. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pics.

    Wishing you a joyful day.

  4. Cyndi, I’ve never even seen collar necklaces. These are so pretty!

And this provoked a memory for me. Do you remember the lace collars we wore back in the 80’s? I was a young bride when those were at the top of the accessory list. 🙂
