What I Wore-Year in Review 2012

What I wore-Year in Review

Well, Christmas is over and I’m spending a day relaxing! It’s nice to spend a day in my pajamas. Of course, that’s not very fashionable!

Last January I started “officially” blogging about Fashion & Beauty. To be more specific I blog about fashion & beauty for women over 40.

I have to admit I was nervous because:

#1. I don’t have a fashion degree but I do love fashion, makeup, jewelry etc. and

#2. I’m over 40! Have you noticed how many cute, young, adorable fashion bloggers are out there?

Somewhere along the way, I realized that there are a lot of women who are not 20ish but want to look fashionable. We also don’t want to look like we’re trying to dress like our teenage or young adult daughter.

So let me say THANK YOU for hanging in there with me! I’ve definitely learned a lot and I love sharing the latest trends and styles with you. I’ve had so much fun so I’ll keep going.

Today, I’m sharing What I Wore-Year in Review 2012. Some of them make me cringe a little but here we go!

October 2012~~My favorite month! I didn’t have a lot of What I Wore pictures because October was my 31 days of Fashion & Beauty for Women over 40. Wow, did we have fun! If you’re over 40 these posts are a must read! :-)

Thank you for all your beauty and fashion advice.I love your style. I also being a 40 something know how hard it is to be stylish and not look too young or old. I think you nail it!

Great to see a positive progression in your style throughout the year! You also look like you ended up losing A LOT of weight! (Not necessary you looked great before) Perhaps posting photos so often was encouragement, or you just became more aware of your body and what looks good on it. I’m 22 and would wear a majority of that stuff haha, though I’ve always been told I dress entirely too old for my age! My 43 yr old mom dresses wayy younger than me… I should show her your blog! Love what you’re doing here but I must go before I really start wearing your outfits ;0)

    Happy New Year and Blogiversary!!

Congratulations on your blogging anniversary! I have learned so much from your blog. At almost 56, I needed an update to my style. I am getting complements and comments that I look younger. Thank you for helping me feel better about myself.

So glad I found your blog ~ have been following you for quite awhile & always love your style. You are an inspiration that those of us over 40 can be stylish without trying to look like our daughters (mines 23 & although I love her style, I find it a tad too young for me LOL) Thank you so much & can not wait to see what we’ll be wearing in 2013 :-)
ps … I liked the blond streak, but you always look fab!
