Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I don’t know about you all, but I can’t help but think of Spring. The weather isn’t showing any signs of it yet but that doesn’t mean I can’t start taking a look at some spring fashion.
Here’s a few of my favorite things:
1.1969 always skinny skimmer jeans in mint green from Gap – Oh I love these jeans especially in the mint color. I want to add these to my spring wardrobe.
2. Women’s Prabal Gurung from Target Wedge Sandal with Ankle Strap – Can’t wait to start wearing sandals. I love these in black and white.
3. INC International Concepts Top, Three – Quarter-Sleeve Striped Boat Neck Tunic – Stripes are a spring trend and so is black and white. This top has both!
4. Blazer from Banana Republic – I love a blazer and this yellow one from Banana Republic would be perfect for spring.
5. Beaded Teardrop Necklace from Groopdealz – I snagged this necklace from Groopdealz. It’s only 8.95 (regular price is $34.99) and comes in 6 colors. I ordered the mint green. There’s only 2 days remaining on this daily deal so if you want one grab it quick!
Although I love Spring fashion, I sometimes struggle this time of the year with what to wear. One day it’s freezing cold and the next day it’s warmer. I need more transitional pieces.
Are you ready for Spring? Do you have a hard time dressing in the in-between season?
Beauty For the Heart~~Sometimes life can be difficult but remember that Jesus is our source of strength and power. “You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:1
Have a blessed day!
I usually end up in layers this time of year. Cute stuff, Cyndi — love the jeans and the tunic. I just worry about where those horizontal stripes would hit my tush!

Hy Cyndi Girl! I D have a hard time dressing for that time that transitions from winter to Spring. It makes me laugh when I remember how we froze in our Easter finery because Easter morning dawned with the temp. at 30 degrees. I think more than any thing, I struggle with the color and weight of the fabric. I had never thought about mint as a good transition color and I love mint. In the denim fabric, that would be a perfect piece. Do you think a lightweight navy blazer would be too much with the mint denim? Thanks! Be blessed!
Hi Cyndi.
I love the skinny jeans. I will probably buy a pair from Gap or J.Crew. I love J.Crew’s Toothpick jeans, but they are a little on the pricey side! I saw the necklace on Group Dealz this morning and wanted to order it, but no shopping in the budget this week. They always have great things, so maybe later.
I struggle with what to wear in warmer weather because I just don’t like shorts very much. It’s not a weight issue…I just don’t like them on me. I do like the ankle length skinny jeans, but am not a fan of the crop pants that stop mid calf. I just don’t think they are very flattering…makes us look shorter…even the taller gals.
Anyway, that’s my two cents worth. I hope you have an amazing week.

I love the necklace – I bought the coral one. The mint was tempting – it’s an unusual and gorgeous color. I’m in a big coral phase that I couldn’t deny! I also got the polka dot scarf they had for 3.99 and free shipping! I got grey. 🙂
The mint skinnies are 30% at Gap (online only) through today and you get free shipping! I also bought a mint teardrop necklace from Groopdealz this morning. Thank you so much for turning me on to that site, I have ordered a few things from them and have always been thrilled. Such great deals! Order the skinnies Cyndi – you’ll be so happy you did!
I just bought me a black/white jacket….
