Dark Circles Be Gone!

I shared with you on Tuesday that I have dark circles under my eyes and I was even brave enough to show you a picture of my dark circles. Today I’m going to share with you what I’m using to cover up those dark circles. Drumroll please!

The first product is The PORE fessional by Benefit. This minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines. Basically it fills in the fine lines around my eyes and doesn’t allow my concealer to maximize them. It’s great! You can use it anywhere you have lines on your face, I also use it around my lip area.

The next product is lemon aid by Benefit. This is a corrector, we’ve talked about corrector’s before and this one is amazing!  This will wake your eyes up!  It helps to hide redness & dark circles with just a dab. In a snap, eyes look refreshed.  I will never be without this corrector, it’s good!

Lastly, I use Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless Concealer. This is amazing too! It’s a full coverage concealer with skin soothing ingredients. A little bit goes a long way! This velvety concealer is also ideal for masking discoloration and imperfections such as acne, blemishes, redness, scars, and hyper-pigmentation. (disclosure: this is an affiliate link)

Dark Circles Be Gone!

Okay, that’s my 3 step process to covering up my pesky dark circles. It’s quick and easy, I promise! But these products really work and so far, they’re the best I’ve found. And believe me, I’ve tried a lot of products!

before and after 2

Would any of you like a video tutorial of how to apply this? I might get brave and try to do one! Let me know!

  1. I use and LOVE Hard Candy Glamoflauge. Not real expensive $6 at WalMart, but man does this stuff cover. You only need a tiny little bit – like the head of a pin – comes in several colors and covers like crazy; will even cover a tattoo! Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

  2. Hi Cyndi- I was just reviewing this post about your dark circles and I have a Question for you…. I have circles under my eyes too but they are not dark. Just circles 🙁 Do you think it is necessary for me to use all three products you shared? If not, which ones do you recommend? And where can I buy them? Thanks so much 🙂

  3. Have you looked at beautypedia.com? Paula gives the Tarte a BEST rating because there is no fragrance. Also do not use the fair shade as too pink and Do Not use on blemishes. I have been using her reviews for years. I am definitely going to purchase this for my dark circles.

  4. I love Benefit products. I use lemon aide, but haven’t tried Tarte’s new concealer yet cause I like Benefit’s erase paste. Have you tried their mascara “They’re Real” yet? It’s awesome too. Really curls the lashes & they stayed curled up, which makes them show more.

  5. hope you are setting up the lighting etc for that video. sounds as if you have a lot f dark circled readers. thank you

  6. Hey girl…me again. Just skimmed the other comments and it looks as though you have NO CHOICE about doing the video. Start smiling!

  7. You use these products to perfection! Under eye concealer and concealer for redness is such a problem for me. I would LOVE to see a tutorial to see exactly where and how much of these products you apply! Thanks for the tips Cyndi!

  8. Yes, please, on the video tutorial. And I think you should do one of those posts where half of your face is made up and the other half is not. Wouldn’t that make for a funny conversation if you unexpectedly got a visitor at your home during the photo shoot? 🙂

  9. You can get it at Ulta or Sephora stores, or online at either of those stores’ websites, or at benefitcosmetics.com site.

I use this product, too, and I find it helps erase fine lines around eyes. 🙂

  10. Video would be awesome. Thank you for going bare, that took guts! All 3 of the products I found on Ulta….Woo Hoo!

    Thank you so much!

  11. Definitely will look for these products! Do you use these products and then put makeup on or vice versa?

  12. Would love a video. I recently bought the pore stuff at ULta, though they didnt tell me about using it under my eyes!

  13. Oh yes a video would be fabulous! I tend to buy any product that somebody recommends and then use 100x too much – unless I see somebody do it. I guess if x is good then twice x is even better? Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way with makeup. 🙂

  14. I think with all of us agreeing that you should do a tutorial, you’d better get cracking! lol If you would, please, tell us where you purchase the items also? I love this blog! Thank you for sharing!!

  15. I would be so happy to see a video tutorial. It helps so much to see an actual application. I hope you do it! Thanks!

  16. Yes, Yes, Yes to the tutorial PLEASE!! I will be 44 in a couple weeks and the dark circles started showing up last year:(

  17. Have to totally agree with you on the Tarte concealer. It’s almost like getting a face lift!! For sure, you only can use a teeny bit, as it is so dense. Do the tutorial, it wil show the whole process. I’m going to get the 2 Benefit ones too! 🙂

  18. Hi Cyndi! Thanks so much for letting us in on your secret weapons! 🙂 PLEASE do a video for us! You look better without makeup than I look with it!!!

  19. Cyndi, I would love to see a video, in fact I think you really, really should start a video channel or vlogging, you would get a great amount of followerers. It is so hard to find beauty guru’s on youtube our age. Currently the only one I officially subscribe to is HotandFlashy. There are a few others, but for me a bit over the top!

  20. LOVE porefessional. I also use Benefit’s Oooh La Lift under my eyes and it’s really great too.

  21. Yes, please a video will be great!!! Hopefully this will help out with puffiness, too.
Where can you get the products from?
    Love your blog!!!!

  22. Would LOVE to see a video, you can do it . . . it’s just us, no reason to be shy 🙂 You look amazing!

  23. Yes, please, on the video tutorial, Cyndi! Showing your actual application (where and how much you apply) would be very helpful. Thanks for sharing!!

  24. Finding the right concealer has definitely been a challenge for me. I use the pore fessional as a primer but have never used it under the eye. Do you use the lemon aid under the eye, the directions say it’s for the eyelid. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂

  25. Good Morning Cindi…thanks for sharing the products you use for dark circles. I have olive skin and have suffered from dark circles forever! A video tutorial would be so helpful!
