7 Pieces 7 Outfits

Good morning! Today I’m participating in the 7×7 Remix. Basically, it’s taking 7 pieces from your wardrobe (6 clothes items and one pair of shoes) and creating 7 different outfits, 7 Pieces 7 Outfits. Make sense?

Many of us complain about not having anything to wear. But most of us have the clothes, it’s just learning how to mix and match them to create different outfits.

Here are the 7 Pieces I pulled from my closet. 1. Ann Taylor black tank  2. Old Navy Chambray Shirt 3. JC Penney Coral Top 4. JC Penney Floral Skirt 5. The Limited White Jeans 6. Ralph Lauren Jean Capris 7. Ann Taylor Nude Sandals

7 Pieces 7 Outfits

Here are the 7 outfits I created with those 7 items. I added different accessories I already had and it was much easier than what I thought it would be.

outfits!

Outfit #1

7 Pieces 7 Outfits
Last week I posted about adding a wide belt to my outfits and I’m enjoying wearing this belt.

Outfit #2

I’m not a huge fan of tucking my shirt in but I tried it with a thin yellow belt I had purchased from Target and I kind of like it.

Outfit #3

I used the belt with this skirt and I also added some coral earrings.

Outfit #4

This is a casual outfit but the pop of red in the necklace, makes it not so boring.

Outfit #5

I love black and silver so I added silver accessories to this outfit.

Outfit #6

This is a casual look with my chambray shirt tied in a knot.

I really like this black tank with this skirt and I had never put it together before now.

This was fun to do so I may try it again with 7 different pieces!

Do you try to mix and match to make different outfits in your closet?

  1. I am going to try this idea. We are going on a cruise in Oct and that would be a great way to pack. I love to read your blog

  2. OH… these are great! I love the 7×7 ideas. It makes me want to go through my closet and take pictures of outfits. My things pretty much coordinate with each other (or else I’d never have purchased them!), but I get stumped when it comes to pulling outfits together each day. Great ideas… thank you!

  3. Wow! You did an amazing job with all of these looks! Love it!! I’ve been trying to stretch the wardrobe lately and it can be a challenge for sure!

  4. You are so cute! I love the outfits and find so much inspiration from your site! I was amazed looking at your pictures as we share an art piece: in your office, the pic that says “Be your own kind of beautiful”. I have the same picture and it’s one of my favorite quotes.

  5. Theya re all so cute in different ways. Love the black top tucked in with the white jeans and would also like to see it paired with black jeans and silver accessories. the cahmbray shirt with white pants also looks very sharp…casual, but crisp.

  6. I loved your 7 Pieces 7 outfits today, especially the red top with the white pants and the red top with the floral skirt (very cute). I would like to see the black top with the black pants with a silver necklace, earrings and maybe a little silver belt. You look so pretty and you inspire me (almost 50) to mix up my outfits and try something new and different with them. I am so glad I found your blog; I am really enjoying it!

  7. Cyndi, you look absolutely adorable in each one of those outfits. To think you put them all together with the same pair of shoes???!!! I know, I mean I already know, there is no way, no how, I could EVER hope to achieve this wardrobe kind of magic!

  8. Cindy…love your 7 with 7! Would love to see if you have any outfits you could put together for work? I have to dress up for work everyday…and I need more ideas. Thank you and hope you have a blessed day…beautiful out today! 🙂

  9. I love all the looks Cyndi. I am fairly new here and was wondering if you’ve ever shared what your favorite brand of jeans are? I love the fit of your blue jeans and am in the market for a new pair. Did that sound weird…lol

  10. Hi Cyndi! I love this blog as it gives us all ideas.
I am praying for your sister today as she goes on her trip with Compassion. They are headquartered here in Colorado Springs.
I am going on an arts/missions trip to Romania and Hungary June 21-July 9 and need to be really versatile in packing clothes – conservative pieces, but dresses for concerts as well. Each piece of clothing must be part of several outfits, so today’s blog was a huge help. Bless you!!

  11. Love this! I just finished a 30×30 challenge and this seems so much easier. lol! It would be fun to try it out. You did great! My favorite outfit is #3!

  12. I love your remix! Isn’t it so amazing how 7 pieces of clothes and you look like you have 7 totally different outfits! I love it! Thank you so much for linking up and linking back to me! Hope to see you next time too!
