What I Wore-My Style

Happy Wednesday friends! I’ve been so busy with our foreign exchange students, I haven’t had a lot of time to take pictures. But I did grab these two in between getting them both enrolled in school and settled into their room.

You can never have enough lightweight, printed tanks in your wardrobe. They are versatile and can be transitioned into fall by adding  a cardigan or denim jacket. I love this simple button up neck tie tank.

Ruffled blouse

Tank-Tulle (online but I purchased from Stitch Fix.)
Bootcut jeans- Kut from the Kloth -Ande High Rise (online but I purchased from Stitch Fix.)
Wedge heels-Kohl’s

I wore this to church on Sunday. I love the dress but I was concerned about all the pleats around my hip area. Not an area I want to accentuate!

Ballet flats- Marshall’s (this year)
Necklace- Stitch Fix

The ballet flats from Marshall’s are my favorite shoes right now, I wear them all the time and they’ll be perfect for fall too.

Dress with coral necklace collageToday is a special day because it’s my son’s birthday! He lives two hours away so I don’t get to see him today, but 26 years ago I was in labor birthing this 10 lb. baby boy! My life has forever been changed for the better because of this sweet young man. He is a blessing and makes me laugh like no one else in the world. I love you Cory Douglas!!!

Birthday

That’s all I have for today. I’m hoping to have another Tie It Together Thursday post for you tomorrow so make sure you stop back by!

Beauty For the Heart~~In ages past you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. Even they will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will never change them like a garment, and they will fade away. But your are always the same; your years never end. Psalm 102:25-27

Our clothes will wear out and so will our bodies, but not our God!

Have a blessed day!
