Favorite Fashion “Pins” Friday!

It’s Friday and it’s twelve days until Christmas! Yikes! I’m not ready yet. But I’ll be ready come December 25th. 🙂

Here are some of my favorite fashion “pins” from Pinterest this week.

Do you all have a lot going on this weekend? Christmas parties? Shopping?

Beauty For the Heart~~Will all the busyness of this season don’t forget to rest and enjoy the simple pleasures.

  1. I love the elbow patches. They fit right in with the equestrian look/riding boots trend that is so popular right now. Now, we just need a little tweed!!

  2. Thank you for your reply, I agree. I have a few ordered that do not have the lace, I plan on adding my own in a color that I need…. Like on a black pair I need a little bit of deep red lace. etc. and then I also ordered some with lace that I really liked. Have a Merry Christmas!

  3. Cute outfits. I love the plaid shirt and the chambray shirt sticking out under the sweaters. I can’t seem to pull off that look but I still love it!

  4. Hi Cyndi,
    Happy Friday 🙂
Love all the pins, especially like the totebag in the chambray and glitter pin.
I bought my first gift today. Yikes….talk about a late start.
    Have a great weekend

  5. Love all the “pins” today. These skinny models make every outfit look so easy to wear. I am not a fan of elbow patches. I love my tall riding boots and my short boot-shoes. I still love to match purse with shoes or boots-even though I know it is not a style must now days.
I have started looking for some leg warmers (I find are sooo cute) and wondering if the are appropriate for women of our age. . . . (I just turned 46) I am talking about (and loving) the tall leg warmers that stick out of the riding boots with lace on them. What is your opinion about the leg warmers? 🙂

  6. I’ve been wondering the same thing. And when I look around, that’s all I see the young women wearing: skinny pants and jeans. And some of them aren’t skinny, and the pants to me are immodestly tight. I know that’s just my opinion, but when the pants reveal bulges and ripples of skin, they seem too tight to me. Not trying to be judgmental, but perhaps it’s not always best to follow the going trend if it can’t be done in good taste and modesty.

  7. Love all the coziness! Now all I need is a snow day! 😉
We’re headed to South GA for a wedding this weekend — much as I know it will be lovely and fun, the endless to-do’s are hanging over me! Hoping I can stay in the moment…

  8. These are all right up my alley except I have a “poison eye” for elbow patches. I think it’s one of those things were you either like them or detest them… they come and go so much that there must be a good following for them! I love the skiinnies tucked into boots. Trouser Jeans and straight legs are great as well.

  9. Absolutely!! Boot cut jeans are very stylish and are flattering on most figures. The only problem is you can’t tuck your boots in your jeans. 🙂
    Thanks for stopping by!

  10. Hi Cyndi.

I love that camel sweater and the top it is layered with! So cute. 🙂 I, too, love the elbow patches. I haven’t purchased anything yet with elbow patches because most of the sweaters I’ve found have some type of wool in the fabrication. I cannot wear any type of wool, not even the finest merino. I cannot wear cashmere either.

My husband’s office party is tomorrow afternoon. It will be a casual gathering, so I’m wearing black skinny tuxedo jeans, with a fitted black crewneck sweater with sequins and ankle boots. I’ll wear some fun silver earrings and bracelets, I’m sure. 🙂

Hope you have a great weekend.

  11. Cyndi, I love the styles posted but honestly, I had a flannel sheet set that was used in my son’s room that is the identical pattern of the green plaid scarf! I just go there on that one ;0)
I love the patches on the elbows. That goes way back many years ago but I just think it is a cool look. Have a great time completing your Christmas errands!

  12. I’m seeing a lot of boot-cut and trouser style with full legs that are universally flattering. I personally don’t find the skinny jeans that attractive on non-skinny people; I look like drumstick legs in them! However, It’s nice to tuck them into boots, and other styles just don’t work as well in my experience.

  13. I think I like this weeks best of all you’ve posted. They look like how I actually dress, or rather would like to. 🙂 I NEED to get skinny jeans, but I just hate the mono derriere most seem to have. Maybe another post exclusively on jeans at all price points?

  14. Some great outfits here, Cyndi, thanks! I got my first stitch fix this week & am keeping two of the things they sent! 🙂 Love this Beauty for the heart – so important to remember at this time of the year.
