Christmas Holiday Fashion-Traditional Red

It’s the time of year for Christmas parties and family get-togethers. I love to dress up and I can’t help but wear red this time of the year. It’s a traditional color but it’s one of my favorites.

Here’s some Christmas Holiday Fashion that I’ve been wearing.

This is such and easy look. I wore my basic black dress and added a red scarf.

Because the weather was cold I wore black tights and black boots.

Several years ago, I purchased a red sweater from Banana Republic. I love wearing it with a pair of black velvet pants and black heels.

I added some long sparkly earrings.

What type of Christmas holiday fashion are you wearing? Do you like wearing red?

Beauty for the Heart~~Have you ever had someone close to you who is running from God? You know they know better, but they’re choosing the wrong path.

Continue to pray for them. Prayer is powerful! And always remind them that God’s grace is available! There’s no sin too big for God.

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLV)

Have a blessed day!

  1. Just wanted to share this sweet little comment with you. My nine year old daughter was looking at your blog with me and she saw the photos of you and said, “she has a really pretty smile”. I agree, your smile is beautiful and it shines throughout your blog posts. Thanks for sharing your smile with us.

  2. Enjoy stopping by…your beauty for the heart touched me today. Thank you.
I’ve been a silent reader for a while. A nice way for me to unwind at days end!

  3. Hi Cyndi, this is the first time I’ve commented on your blog and I’ve been following it off and on for a few weeks. I just want to thank you for being such a positive role model. I’ve recently started my own blog (scared to death) geared to blind & vision impaired women because it’s been my experience that there is little out here in regards to overall style for this group of folks. I only hope that I can reach the heart of people like you demonstrate so well. Merry Christmas!

  4. Lovely outfits Cyndi! You look adorable! I agree with you about loving red~ especially at this time of year! I dressed very similar to you this past Sunday, but added a cute black & white cardigan , as my dress had shorter sleeves. The red scarf added that pop it so needed. This Sunday, I’m excited to wear a beautiful red shirtdress from Coldwater Creek. I’m going to pair it with dressy leggings & boots and a white sparkly scarf-very Christmas-y! 😉 I also like to wear green atthis time of year too & have on a green cowl neck shirt today. I hope you are enjoying the Holidays–we JUST finished up our Christmas shopping today…but had so much fun doing it. BLESSINGS to you & your family! Oh~ and I wanted to be sure you know how much I’ve enjoyed your blog during this Christmas season..it’s my 1st Christmas season here. Love it!

  5. Hi Cyndi.

You look beautiful, as always. 🙂

I love the combo of red and black together. I wore a black sequin sweater, black tuxedo skinny jeans, ankle boots and a bright red scarf to my husband’s holiday party. It was a casual gathering, so it worked for me. It was also pouring down the rain! I’ll probably wear some version of that same “uniform” throughout the holiday, except to church on Christmas Eve. I’ll dress up a little more then.

Hope you have a great week.

  6. Cyndi I also love red and black. You look lovely as always! I have a loved one who seems to continually run from God. It’s so hard because I know what she’s missing out on and it’s just so me to want to fix it for her but I know she’s got to come to The Lord on her own. Some days I get impatient with God concerning this prayer of salvation for her. I know God is in control but I have a tendency to want to be the one in control. Thank God he’s patient with me!
