Happy Friday! I was so excited when I found this site that had Fashion Trends for Spring 2014 with ideas inspired from the runway.
These are spring trends you can wear and you’ll see them in all your favorite stores!
1. Graphic prints-Black and white prints are a very popular trend for this spring.
2. Tea-length—between midi and maxi skirt.
3. Floral prints. I’m also seeing these sandals a lot. They’re so cute!!

I like all these looks on the models, but feel the tea length skirt just looks frumpy on someone older. Instead of looking fresh, it would look like someone is still wearing their clothes from the 90s. It’s the same with many of the large scale floral prints; fresh on a younger person, “granny” on an older one. I’m sure there are exceptions. I find the stilletos unwearable, and with a platform I don’t see how anyone can walk. LOVE the flat white sandals!
Hi Cyndi… These looks are all pretty and “springy”, but I would only feel comfortable wearing look 1 or 2. I would feel like I was trying to dress too young with the other looks. Maybe it is the difference between 40 and 50. For the most part, I think over 40 fashions can go into the 50’s and many into the 60’s, but, it does seem that there are some that can’t go beyond 50. I’ve never realized or noticed that until now. What do you think? I love the color play of the pastel outfit and change a couple of pieces up to make a really nice outfit.
