Sunday Encouragement-Happy Easter!

Happy Easter friends! If you’re looking for the Easter bunny, you won’t find him here. There are no colored eggs, no Easter baskets or Easter candy.

Although all of that is cute and fun, Easter is not about the bunny. Easter is all about Jesus.

Sunday Encouragement-Happy Easter!
My prayer for us today is that we will celebrate the true meaning of Easter. He is worthy of our praise!

If you have stopped by and you don’t know Jesus, I would be honored to share him with you. You can email me at cyndispivey(at)gmail(dot)com.

Have a blessed Easter Sunday!!

  1. All I can say is WOW! I watched this just now because we were in Arizona for Easter and I missed your blog – but tears are falling and I am so aware of Christ’s work on the cross and His forgiveness. Thank you Cyndi!

  2. Cindi, I just want you to know that you are such a blessing. Thank you for following God’s guidance in this blog and for choosing to use the gifts that God has given you for his glory, but also as an attempt to “Live IT” The world is constantly watching for those slip ups we all are prone to, so I pray for you!!

  3. Happy Easter Cyndi! He’s Risen!!! Thank you for posting this and keeping the focus on Jesus and not the Easter Bunny.

  4. Hi Cyndi! Happy Easter to you and your family! I was standing in church this morning waiting for Mass to begin. My 5 yr. old granddaughter tapped me on the shoulder and whispered, “Grammie, you know Jesus walked out of that cave this morning and He was REALLY alive!! So, we are going to be singing ‘Alleluia’ a lot, I mean a real lot today.” I smiled at her and said, “Isabelle, you are so RIGHT! We ARE going to sing ‘Alleluia’ a lot because we are so happy that Jesus has risen.” She added, “All of the world is so excited that Jesus is alive, even the animals and the big Easter Bunny is SO happy, he is just dropping eggs and candy everywhere, so we can peek when we get home, okay?” I just hugged her, I didn’t know what to say, she had it just right. The organ began and she started singing with all of her heart, “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today”. I could feel my eyes welling up, Jesus was definitely ALIVE and with us, just as He promised.

  5. All I can say is AMEN! I am thankful He is Risen & in heaven preparing a place for us. <3 Happy, Happy Easter! Praise Jesus!

  6. One Sunday morning my teenage son who loves Jesus with all his heart was late waking up. I stuck my head in his bedroom door and said enthusiastically “Son wake up! The Lord is risen and you’re still in the bed!” He got so tickled he immediately sprung up out of the bed smiling and laughing. He’s grown and married now and that memory stays with me. HAVE A SUPER EASTER AND GOD BLESS!

  7. He is risen! He is risen indeed! May you and your family have a blessed Easter, Cyndi! Thank you so much for sharing the Good News all year long. 🙂
