What I Wore-Summer Fashion

Happy Wednesday! Every Wednesday, I share what I wore and of course it’s summer fashion.

I know you all have seen this top before but it’s one of my favorites so I pulled it out for church on Sunday.

This top I recently received in my Golden Tote. You can read more about Golden Tote here. I’ll be sharing my clothes with you tomorrow.

Are you having a good summer? Are you enjoying some pretty weather?

Beauty For the Heart~~This week is Vacation Bible School at our church. It’s such a fun week and I love seeing all the kids enjoying coming to church. The lessons have been so good and we’re teaching the children that God made us all different and he loves each of us.

That’s good for adults to hear too!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Cyndi, I have to agree with you. I don’t know that I would go so far as to say that your last outfit is a FAILURE, but something is missing. It doesn’t have the polished look that is always your trademark. Oh well, I’ve had more outfit failures than I care to admit, I’m only horrified when I remember actually wearing them some place! The coral and aqua chevron top looks FABULOUS on you! The white pants, sandals and fun bracelets make the outfit a HUGE SUCCESS!

  2. Cyndi: You are too darn cute to have an outfit fail! Love your style 🙂 and your smile! VBS is the best fun for kids…every child should get to go to VBS each summer (or like my son…who went to multiple VBS weeks each summer so he could go with his cousins!…miss my son being that young!). Have fun!

  3. I agree with Suzanne’s comment… Try pairing that last top with the ankle pants from first pic. Or any other form fitting bottom. Like you have said before, if the top is loose fitting, bottoms should not be. 🙂 thx for sharing

  4. I love the jeans with the black and white top! The sandals look great with it,too. So classy and beautiful!

  5. I agree with the others- the last look is still pretty cute! But I do understand that sometimes something can look okay but if I feel sloppy or just “off” while wearing it, it’s still an outfit fail to me!

  6. I don’t know why just the first sentence of my posts shows up! This keeps happening to me, making me not want to post replies. Hope this works. I went on to say that I believe you’d like the last outfit better if you paired the top with the ankle pants from the first pic that are more fitted.

  7. Just want to say that I stumbled across your blog a couple days ago (don’t even remember how), and I love it! I sat for a couple hours reading your entries. I love your style and will be following it from now on. Never heard of “Stitch Fix” or “Golden Tote” but I have looked into both and think I will give them a try. 🙂

  8. I agree, I like the outfit on you. Looks like a comfy outfit to run errands in, trip to the grocery store or keeping up with those sweet children at VBS!

  9. I agree with the previous commentor; add a necklace or scarf. It’s a bit different than your usual outfits but different doesn’t always mean bad. It looks good on you.

  10. I don’t think your last outfit is so bad! The color of the top is lovely on you and you look relaxed, comfortable and casual while still looking pulled together (not sloppy). I think there is a place for this look for all of us. It’s good for us, your readers, to learn there are ways to be comfortable and casual without always reverting to yoga pants:) Thanks for sharing a cute look for home or, the beach or a picnic day that is still cute! I love it! Blessings, Krista
