Summer Fashion With Golden Tote

Yesterday, I shared this Etched Print Top I received in my June Golden Tote. I first shared about Golden Tote in April.

Golden Tote is a fun way to shop! It’s the ultimate “Surprise Grab Bag” filled with clothing and accessories for women.

Golden Tote works with carefully selected fashion brands. They curate an eclectic assortment of treasures and package them all up in a custom tote bag for one amazing price.

Think of them as your personal shoppers, stylists, and designers that are scoring you some major fashion finds for an incredible price. I explained the process in detail here.

Basically, you spend $49 and get up to $200 in items or you spend $149 and get up to $600 in items. That’s a great deal!

I picked the $149 tote. I got to pick two items and they surprised me with the rest. I chose the Etched Print Top and the Chambray Boyfriend Shirt (I can’t never have enough chambray shirts!).

They surprised me with this nautical shirt. Perfect for summer!

I also received these Puella Slouchy pants. When I first saw them, I thought I wouldn’t like them but I love them!! They feel like pajamas!

I love a comfortable tank top and this one is perfect! I love the color too!

Lastly, they sent me this adorable dress. I like it, but it’s a little too short. That will make my daughter very happy because I’m gifting it to her!

Golden Tote is an “all or nothing” deal. So if you want to send it back, you have to send the entire bag. They recommend gifting it to someone else.

Also, they have a Golden tote Trading Group on Facebook. You can swap and trade items that may not work for you with other Golden Tote customers.

So what do you think? Do you want to give Golden Tote a try? Go here to log in and check out their FAQ page for more information.

  1. I tried Golden Tote the first time in May after reading about it on your blog. I got some cute items. One dress was too short for me. This month I added a comment requesting no short dresses. I also have a daughter I can share with so that helps with items the “all or nothing” rule. My June tote is on it’s way to me. Hope I receive the slouchy pants and that cute green tank that you received. Thanks for bringing Golden Tote to my attention.

  2. Your daughter is a lucky girl to be gifted such a cute dress. I love all the things you wore in the pictures today. I can’t recall a time I have seen you in anything that didn’t look good. I’m so jealous:) I could never do an all or nothing purchase because I would probably end up having to give most of it away. Have a good weekend.

  3. I like the tops you have one Cyndi. But I too agree that the price is a bit steep and I don’t like the idea that it’s all or nothing. I’m so particular about my clothes and the fit that I think it would stress me out more trying to work with a system like that. It’s nice for those who can do it though. Have a super day and a great Father’s day weekend!

  4. I also ordered some David Kind glasses the first of May. I received the wrong frames and had to send them back. I am still waiting for them and it’s sure been a while. Also, they told me (I have progressive lenses) that progressive lenses are now an extra $80 fee. I think for the incovnvenience I have had with the order being incorrect and the added $80 fee, I will probably just use someone locally next time.

  5. You look lovely in the items you received-I especially like the nautical top. Personally, I can’t imagine using this type of service as a no-return policy on unseen items is off-putting to me. I don’t even shop the “final sale” online section of retailers I like as I don’t want to have to keep something that doesn’t work. I’m trying to purge my closet of things I no longer care for and don’t wear. Posting pics of unwanted items to trade? No thanks, too time -consuming. The concept of a grab bag is fun but I am not adventurous enough to try it. 🙂

  6. Hi Cyndi, I have not gotten into Golden tote but the items look lovely. I do have to share with you I did take your advice and sent for my glasses from David Kind. I picked out two pair. I wear glasses every waking moment so needed a few different styles. I had them about two months and the one pair broke. I was so bummed. I sent an email to the company along with a picture of the broken glasses. They were very apologetic and have made me a new pair. I then received a prepared shipping container to send the broken ones back. It was not because the glasses were poorly made but that they forgot to add a piece to it to keep the screws in place. Very happy with their customer service. Thank you for telling me about them.

  7. Love the things you received Cyndi. I’ve been wanting to try it, but I never seem to have any money left. LOL. You look awesome in everything! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  8. You look adorable as usual! No offense but is that it? 6 items for a supposed value of up to $600? That equates to approximately $100 an item. I just don’t see where the value is. At the paid price of $149 for 6 items, it’s approximately $25 an item which is doable. But I think I’d rather not take a chance on “surprise” items that may not fit or work for my body type or skin coloring. You do look great though!

  9. Golden Tote sounds like great fun if unwanted items could be returned. I’ve been clearing my closet of all the misfits and poor choices I’ve made in the past. I’m determined to not make new purchases unless I know for sure they look great on me so I’ll actually wear them. Apparel is just too costly these days, even at discounted prices, to spend money on grab bags. However, you look darling on the items you purchased and I learn a lot from your fashion advice! Blessings to you Cindi! 🙂

  10. Is this a monthly subscription? I don’t spend $49/month on clothes and I DEF don’t spend $149. Even if I did I think the all-or-nothing aspect would nix it for me.
