Summer Fashion-4th Of July!

Happy 4th of July! I’m so thankful to be celebrating our country today and the freedoms that we have. I’m also thankful for our military men and women. They sacrifice so much to protect us!

I’m sharing 31 days of summer fashion in July, so here’s what I’m wearing for the 4th of July.

We celebrated last night at a cookout with friends. We had so much fun! The food was delicious and we had a great view of some fireworks. I wore this outfit, that I’ve posted before. Believe it or not it was very chilly! I had a jean jacket on and I was still cold. Crazy weather!

Tonight, we’re having a fish fry at our house. The weather is warmer today so I’m wearing some stripes with my red pants. The striped shirt is from Macy’s.

It’s supposed to get back down in the fifty’s again tonight so I’ll probably thrown on my jean jacket.

This is Stacy and she’s from the South (I forgot to ask her what state). She blogs at Southern Sister Style with here three sisters. How cool is that?

Stacy is a young pastor’s wife and she looks beautiful in this dress and I love the pop of red in her necklace!

  1. I love everyone’s outfits!! I have to tell you that this time ladt year I googled “how to wear white pants” and the first link was yours. I’m so glad I found you! It has taken me a year to find white pants, but I finally found some that don’t have huge pockets on my hips or my rear-end. I finally tried on Levi white jeans and they look great on me! I feel fresh, summery, and everything goes with them! I, too, live in KY. I was so worried I was going to freeze (low 50’s here, too), but I was fine. I wore a polka dot denim shirt, white jeans, white sandals, and red jewelry. I couldn’t have done that without your support of showing us ideas to wear. Thank you!!

  2. I love this new addition showing readers’ outfits. It seems you’re a very good teacher! 🙂
We usually go for a hike at Natural Bridge, Ky to celebrate the natural beauty around me. I think it’s usually forgotten today. And then we eat in Lexington! I don’t know which part I prefer!

  3. Hi Cyndi,
I like the red pants and chambray shirt. They are nice colors for you. My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary today at the beach. It is hard to believe that many years have passed. God Bless America.

  4. Such a trio of lovely women! Cyndi, I’m really liking your red pants with the chambray shirt and those darn cute “go with everything” sandals. You look so fresh and patriotic. Stacey’s dress is darling, I would wear that in a minute.
Happy, Safe and Blessed 4th to you and yours!

  5. Hey Cyndi! Love you striped top with your red jeans…you look so patriotic. I am wearing a solid blue top with a red skort that has white polka dots and my stars and stripes Birkenstock sandals which look like a flag…love the red, white, and blue of our holiday! Thanks for sharing all the religious quotes from our founding fathers…love it! Happy 4th of July! 🙂

  6. What’s more american than adding a jean jacket???? That was my first thought when reading your post…. i hope you have a fabulous weekend. Our fireworks were rescheduled due to the Tropical Storm Arthur, which didn’t do much here at least, NC had it worse… Spending the day finishing last minute surprises for my dauther’s b’day tomorrow..
