Dog Days Of Summer

It’s been a fun month, but I’m ready to start adding some fall clothes to my wardrobe!

Some of you have asked if I’m letting my hair grow out and the answer is, yes. I’m going to keep the same style but try to let it grow a little longer. We’ll see how it goes!

I’m tired of all my summer clothes, what about you?

Beauty For the Heart~~I don’t know what’s going on in your life right now but this verse is a good reminder to look to Him. Good or bad, seek Him!

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Psalm 105:4

Have a blessed day!

  1. I just wanted to thank you for showing me how women 40 and over can have a stylish wardrobe without breaking the bank. I’m 41 years old and feel like I don’t know how to put a sensible wardrobe together nor dress for work without feeling frumpy. My mom who is 67 at times dresses better than me.
Thank you again for sharing how to put stylish outfits together.

  2. Love the printed dress with the jean jacket and the cypress pants with the white or cream sleeveless top. Those are my favorites this month.

I am looking forward to fall as well when it’s perfect “sweatshirt weather.” Always fun to do backyard campfires then.

  3. Can’t wait for the fall crisp air and bringing out my hoodies….maybe you could feature 21 days of the hoodie:)

  4. I like your hair Cyndi- it looks cute longer! And I love the August outfit with the dress and jean jacket. I love doing that as well – such a versatile look! God Bless!

  5. Ready for fall as well. I have a love/hate relationship with my white pants & jeans. Love then but getting tired of them as it has been my go to this summer. Since I live in Savannah, GA though we have several more weeks of summer. Look forward to your Sept posts, Cyndi. You certainly have a sense of fashion. And what a great idea, Ruth.

  6. I adore summer and all that goes with it, but I have to say that I love fall clothes best! I too am looking forward to changing out my wardrobe! I have a friend coming over tonight…one of those honest and loving friends…to help me sort through my fall clothes options. She has a great eye for putting things together in a way I hadn’t thought to. Sounds like the perfect night! Hopefully I will remember to take a few photos. 🙂
