31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 13)

It’s Day 13 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion. If you’ve followed my blog for long, you know I love scarves!

I recently purchased this scarf from Stitch Fix. It’s an infinity scarf, it’s plaid, and it’s soft. Umm, perfect!

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 13)

I’m in love with these booties from Old Navy and my zipper ankle jeans from the Loft. I could wear them everyday, but that wouldn’t be good for my 31 days of fall fashion.

I have no idea why my cardigan is shorter on one side in these pictures. It’s not made that way and I didn’t notice it until after I had taken the pictures.  We could start a new trend and pretend it’s really cool. Ha! Ha!

Boyfriend Cardigan-I’d had for a while but they have similar ones at Old Navy//Infinity scarf-Stitch Fix//Gold shirt-Target//Ankle jeans-LOFT//Booties-Old Navy

I love boyfriend cardigans and I plan on purchasing more in the future. Do you like this style of cardigan?

Beauty For the Heart~~So many times when I’m doing my devotion, I’ll read a scripture and it’s as if God hand picked it for me that day.

Here’s a verse I read and I felt I needed, “And I pray that your love will have deep roots. I pray that it will have a strong foundation. May you have power with all God’s people to understand Christ’s love. May you know how wide and long and high and deep it is.”  Ephesians 3:17-18

I pray you and I know how loved we are by Christ today!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Cindy, what is the name of the camisoles you wear under most of your shirts? I have been wanting to order some and I can’t find the post you did some time back about them. I like that they are long and I am hoping they can “smooth” things out over my midsection. Thanks.
    P.S. Loving the fall fashion

    1. I use all different types of camisoles. I like SNUG camisoles online. But I also use some from Kohl’s and JC Penney’s.
I wear them with all the time!
      Hope that helps,
      cyndi

  2. Hi Cyndi girl, you look fabulous today! I especially love the boyfriend cardigan with your bright blue and yellow/gold scarf. I’m with you, I love the boyfriend cardigan. I have 4 of them, but I just ordered another one last week. They are great to wear with white button up shirts. chambray shirts and cotton turtlenecks. All of these with a great scarf or big necklace are wardrobe basics for me. That look is darling with your jeans and boots. Be Blessed!

  3. Thanks so much for your great ideas You have been an inspiration for me to try different styles and color combinations. I look forward to your daily outfit and spiritual thoughts

  4. Did you forget asymetrical is a trend? You are right on target!!!
Any way, they don’t make things like they used to.

  5. I bought these booties and love them! Got some skinny jeans from Loft and its a good fit – I like that they make me look slimmer 🙂
    love your new scarf

  6. I bought those same booties from Old Navy last week! They are waaay out of my comfort zone but I’m following Alison’s Style Me Pretty Fall Challenge, so I went out on a limb and bought them! I really like how you styled them. I keep hearing about Loft jeans. Will have to check them out! I’m just getting back into fashion after a long hiatus. I’m in my mid 40’s and I’m learning how to be current and fashionable but not break the bank or look like I’m trying too look 20. I’m a new follower to your blog and I really like what I see!

    1. Hi Sheila!! It’s so nice to meet you!
You will love those boots, they’re perfect for fall and I’m glad you’re going out on a limb.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. We have a lot of fun around here.
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  7. You look so pretty Cindi! Love the colors of the scarf and they are great on you! Yah for Loft ankle jeans! 🙂

  8. No way can you be frumpy Cyndi. As for the cardigan it just makes you look real to have it that way. Wish it were cool enough her to wear that.

    1. Hey Shama,
I think you can do statement earrings. I sometimes like to keep it simple with my scarf, if my earrings are too big, they hit my scarf. But there’s no wrong or right way.
      Thanks for stopping by!
      Cyndi

  9. This is a great outfit! I do like cardigans like this one and almost any other cardigan. I live in Alberta, Canada and winters here are looong! We get lots of wear out of our warm sweaters so I have several. Great reminder of Christ’s love for us in your beauty for the heart today. Thanks for the inspiration both of outer beauty and inner beauty 🙂

  10. It is a rainy Monday here, and this look is just the bright spot I needed! It looks so comfortable and yet pulled together! Love the combination of the grey/yellow and blue/yellow! PERFECTION!

  11. Just picked up those ankle jeans from Loft last week b/c I’d seen them on your blog. You’re right. They’re awesome! It’s raining in Dallas this morning, so you’ve given me a cute outfit idea to follow today. Thank you, also, for sharing the Word & the love of Christ each day. Blessings to you.

  12. I do love that style of cardigan. And cardigans in general. Especially after moving from Florida to Tennessee where you can wear them and not sweat half to death!

Yesterday while I was out shopping with my daughter I said, “Cyndi would be so proud of me right now!” Haha. I found myself asking the question, “Would Cyndi wear this?” Thanks for being my guide! 🙂 I love your blog – I’m 45 and I don’t want to be a frumpy pastor’s wife. I want to dress appropriate for my age AND be stylish. You have helped me so much! I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’m making progress!

    1. You’re so sweet!! I’m happy to be your guide. I’m striving right a long side of you, not wanting to be a frumpy pastor’s wife. 🙂
Striving for beauty from the inside out!!
      Blessings,
      Cyndi
