31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 31)

Well hello and welcome to day 31 of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion! Although I’m kind of excited to be finished with the outfit a day, I’m not happy that the month of October is over.

I wait all year for this one month because it’s my favorite, and then it’s gone in a blink of an eye! Sigh.

I realized that I had gone through the 31 days and not shared a dress. I think?? I didn’t look back but I don’t remember sharing one. Of course at my age, I do forget things. Ha!

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 31)

For some reason I was in the mood to style a denim dress. Something about it just seemed fallish.

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 31)

This leopard scarf I ordered a few years ago. It was like $2.99 and maybe from Taiwan?? I can’t remember. I wasn’t sure I would ever get it, but low and behold about 2 months later, I did. It’s not an infinity scarf but I tied it to make it work like one. It’s lightweight and perfect to wear like this.

31 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 31)

I found this denim dress at Gap on clearance. Gap has some really good stuff in their clearance area. If I hadn’t had Colt (he’s my 3 year old grandson) with me when I was shopping, I could have found several more items. He did not appreciate the clearance section nearly as much as I did.

Do you have a denim dress? It’s great to style with leggings in the colder months.

  1. I love a chambray dress. It is just a timeless piece. I am sad that October is over too – not a fan of winter. But I am excited to start styling some sweaters! Blessings! Susan

  2. I have really enjoyed your 31 days! Although, I found your blog from Pinterest around day 10. How can I view the first 10 days? I have 3 teenage girls at home as my main stylists. Sometimes I wonder if I am dressing to young. Your blog has been a huge help and I have been able to create new outfits from items I already have in my closet! Thank you!

  3. Love this look!! What I really love is everything you wear is easy to find and buy!! The items are at a great price point and from so many different vendors! You are such inspiration!! Every out fit you posted has something to offer!! You have made me look at my existing wardrobe with new eyes!! Please keep sharing all of your outfits and fashion ideas!! You are a blessing:))

  4. Thank you for adding my subscription to your blog. How do I access the 10 things to do article? Is it on your blog or will it be in an email?

  5. Another great outfit, and it looks especially great on you! Thanks for posting for the past month! It seems like a very popular effort, and I know it takes up a good amount of time, so thanks again!

  6. You always look beautiful and I am always inspired by your daily thoughts and devotions. No one has the same personality or fashion sense so there will always be times when someone doesn’t care for an outfit you are wearing. We all support you and thank you for doing this for us.

  7. Good job of keeping it fresh, mixing black and brown and the OTK boots are perfect. I think keeping up with fashion trends helps us appear more youthful, we just need to “interpret” the fashion trend to our season in life and situation.

  8. I think I would love it more with flats. Cute idea though. Thanks for all your hard work in helping us dress with style.

  9. Cyndi…please keep the fashion post coming. This outfit looks so comfy and will I step out of my comfort zone to wear something like this…I hope so because I just ordered a shirt dress from ON and I’m hoping that at 60 I’m not too old to wear something like this. Am I ????? I never know when I’m going beyond what I should and look like I’m trying to be an age that I am not. I love the style of your blouses/shirts and that’s why I so enjoy your fashion because that’s the style I wear and feel comfortable in. If your favorite month is October, maybe next year do your 31 days a different month so that you CAN enjoy the whole month of October and not be stressed with posting outfits 😉 Love what you do for all of us !

    1. No! you are not too old. You would look stylish and there’s nothing wrong with that at any age. Thank you so much for stopping by!!
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

    1. You said in your email that
‘Outfits seem to be popular but believe it or not I hit Publish with fear and trembling. I always feel you all are going to say that’s it, she’s horrible.

    2. I could not have said it better! My thoughts exactly when shopping ” Would Cyndi approve”. Yes Cyndi keep them coming.

  11. You’ve done a great job Cyndi. Thx for all time you spent this month preparing your 31 days of fall fashion for us!! Love your dress today 🙂 Be blessed!

  12. Thank you so much for each day this month! I know I got a lot of good ideas from all the cute styles you put together. Love your blog..the fashion inspiration and the spiritual encouragement! Thank you.

  13. Thank you! Along with everyone else, I’ve rushed to the computer each day to see what you’ve posted. I have a short-sleeved denim dress, but hardly ever wear it as it’s too hot in the Summer and cold in the Winter. Guess I should have been wearing it this month as it’s getting really cold starting today. 🙁 Oops! Next year, post that on the first of the month to remind me! 🙂

  14. With my Ireland trip and coming home to sort through photos, and dealing with the passing of a friend, I have not commented much ,but enjoyed this month tremendously! I love that this denim dress has the floral print, such a great twist on a classic piece. I too, have used the trick of tying a scarf to make it into an infinity one and it is well worth noting and passing on to readers!

  15. I agree – have looked forward to what you have posted each day! Thank you for taking the time to do this! and also ALWAYS for encouragement for the beauty INSIDE us!! God bless!!

  16. THANK YOU for sharing for 31 days!! I’m a forty-something stay-at-home mom and have really been struggling with fashion at this stage of life. So thankful to have found your website this month. Your cute casual style is just what I’m after! Love that you emphasize the Lord and that beauty begins in our heart. Love the dress, would love to see more ideas that could be worn to church! Thanks for all you do!!!
