31 Days of Fall Fashion Review

Soo, I got several emails asking if there was a page that showed all of my 31 Days of Fall Fashion. I didn’t have one, but now I do!

Here are all the outfits I created during the month of October. For the record, one Sunday I didn’t show an outfit and one day I showed outfits of two of my blogger friends.

It’s 31 29 days of fall fashion. I had some hits but a few misses. Which pretty much sums up most of my months!

Do you remember when you were pregnant and then birthed that sweet baby? For a few months, you remembered the birthing pains and weren’t sure you would do it again.

Most of us did do it again, some of you several times. The birthing pains fade and you’re ready for another sweet little baby.

Where am I going with this?? It’s how I feel about the 31 days of fashion. By the end, I feel like I can’t imagine doing it again. Then a few days go by and it starts to fade.

Don’t laugh, but I’m thinking 31 days of winter fashion in January! 🙂

Beauty For the Heart~~As I look back over these pictures, I started thinking about the month. Everything we went through. I had an eye infection that drove me crazy (not a big deal in the grand scheme of life.)

We lost our nephew in a car crash. On October 29th we lost a dear friend to a fatal heart attack and will be going to his celebration of life service on Wednesday.

There were other things to personal to share on the internet but I say all that to say, God is good. Through the joys and the pains, God is good.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love the outfit for day 27..and actually ordered the jacket from your link.. Received it yesterday and absolutely love it.. It’s so soft… Plus I got it for 50%off because of the discount code.. Thanks for sharing! Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. I love your 31 days of fashion!!! I would miss it if you never did it. I really do enjoy it and appreciate your taking the time & making the effort!

  3. So sorry to hear that this month had such tragedies and difficulties for you and your family… Really liked your childbirth analogy for blogging the entire 31 days of outfits! I appreciate seeing the entire month since I missed most of it , while on my Ireland trip.

  4. I love 1, 4, 27, and 29 but, honestly, you look fabulous in every single one! The fashion challenge sounds fun! Thanks for giving us something to look forward to in January besides cold and snow!

  5. I just found your website and all I can say is FINALLY!!!!
Thank you, this must be so time consuming, but I appreciate all of your hard work. I am a 44 year old mom of two teens, and it is so difficult to dress youthful and stylish, plus keep things age appropriate. I loved all 29 days..honestly they are all my favorites. I can not tell you how refreshing it is to hear your positive comments during your recent difficulties.. peace and strength to you and your family

  6. Thank you for the 31 days! I really enjoyed it, and it gave me ideas about things I could do with what I already have. I liked #6, 14, and 18 the best. I am sorry for the losses you endured this month. God bless you.

  7. Cyndi,
I am glad to read that you are thinking of giving birth again in January to 31 Days of Winter Fashion. Can’t wait!!!
Just curious, which one day of the 31 Days of Fall would be the most Cyndi Spivey – the most naturally YOU? You look fabulous in everything but I just wondered which outfit felt the best, the most comfortable (not because it is wrinkle-free, or loose, or less expensive!) but just the most like home?

  8. Hi Cyndi: I just found your page and am enjoying it very much. I recently went through a very sad divorce and am starting back to work full time after staying home with my children for the past several years. My youngest is a senior in high school so it’s time (my oldest is a sophomore in college). Your 31 days of fashion has helped me a lot with ideas for what to wear when my new job starts in a week. Time to say goodbye to the past and hello to a new beginning. I look forward to many more fun fashionable ideas from your page! Thanks so much.

  9. I think #3 and #5 are my favorites! I am very excited to put myself to work on this type of thing during the ‘wardrobe basics’ challenge! I am sorry you had to go through all those struggles this month, too. I do believe we get stronger through our struggles – it is as God has intended and showed us through Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all affected family members!!

    1. If 3 and 5 are your favorites, you’ll like the basic wardrobe challenge!! 🙂
It does have some dressy and casual looks. But I think we need to dress up sometimes, don’t you??

  10. I really love reading your blog. The denim dress with boots and scarf was my favorite outfit of all your post. I love reading the Bible Verse you shared on Friday. Have a great day.

  11. Cyndi,
I loved all of your outfits but I have to say how much I loved that you styled your burgundy corduroys . I have a pair that I forgot about and after seeing you style them, I went searching for them and am planning on wearing them today.
Some months are just incredibly hard even when you know The Lord carries you through these times. Hugs to you sweet Cyndi!

  12. I have enjoyed following your blog for a year or so! It is always fun and I love the fact that you end with some encouragement from God and His Word!
    God bless you!

  13. Cyndi you did a great job during the month of October. Thank you for all the time you invested….even during the tragedies you experienced. Thank you for sharing on your blog. It makes you real… 😉 I will be praying for the family whose life celebration you are attending on Wednesday. God bless you and thanks for always sharing the love of Jesus, that’s most important! 😉

    1. Lisa, I want women to know that just because I’m posting pictures of myself smiling doesn’t mean life is perfect for me.
Life is hard, period. But I want to encourage women to find joy in each and every day.
      Thanks for following along!
      Cyndi
