Favorite Fashion PINS Friday

Happy Friday friends! It’s been a while since I did a Favorite Fashion PINS Friday so I thought I’d share some PINS with you. Pinterest is my favorite way to get outfit ideas.

If I have an outfit I want to style, I type it in the search bar on Pinterest and voila! I usually find lots of ideas.

Anyway here’s some of my favorite PINS.

You know I’m loving fair isle sweaters and I love this one.

I’m huge fan of basic wardrobe pieces. If you have them, you always have something to wear.

I don’t want to forget to add color during these dreary winter months. I love this pop of color!

I looked everywhere this fall for a vest like this and never found one. I have a military jacket, but I like the vest too.

I’m keeping it pretty short and sweet today. We have lots of things to get done this weekend. It’s hard to believe how quickly the month is flying by!

Do you have a busy weekend planned? Or do you get to stay home and watch some Christmas movies?

I’d love for you to connect with me on your favorite social media platform. I’m on FacebookInstagram and Pinterest!

  1. I am in awe of women that can put together outfits such as these with such great style. I know many of us older women struggle with I
The idea that everything must match and to never mix patterns. You look fantastic. I am loving those black patterned pants in the pic with the hot pink sweater. Where did you find those?

  2. Cyndi, I just found your blog on pinterest today. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time but, I guess, just not in the right places!! I love your style for ‘want-to-be’ trendy women in their 40s. I have been struggling with style, feeling like I am either dressed like a teenager, or too frumpy and non-stylish. I also love how you tell us where you purchased the clothing so we can try to mimic the same look. Thanks again! I look forward to what’s yet to come….Happy Holidays & God Bless.

  3. I just got a military style vest similar to that one on clearance at Maurices. I don’t know if you have that store near you but you could check the website 🙂

  4. Hi Cindy,
Today, when I typed “fashion army vest” on Google (shopping), several vests popped up. The vests from Nordstrom and Overstock.com looked cute. They are priced around $65-68. I hope this may help.

  5. Great pins Cyndi. Love you Beauty for the heart today too…sooo true! Mailing out Cmas cards this weekend and hopefully wrapping too! God bless 😉

  6. I too love Pinterest but so wish they would share where you can purchase the clothing that is on there. That is one of my favorite things about your site, is how you post where we can find the clothing. Thanks!!!

  7. I love your pins. I bought the fair isle sweater you posted here from nordstroms but missed the part about it being cropped….so it went back…I am 5’8″ and I didnt like a shirt underneath of it. I too would love to find a military vest but havent found one:(.

  8. Busy! In Atlanta now. Love the shopping. Found a great all weather coat at Macy’s. Great price on sale. Love all your fashion posts today!

  9. Cyndi:
I have been loving this year’s fair isle trend because it reminds me of my high school years when the trend was popular too! The blue fair isle you picked for a Christmas Day outfit is lovely! I purchased three this fall: one that is ivory, grey, and black; one that is a long cardigan that is black with red, white, green, and purple; and the last one is a fair isle vest I found at the Goodwill store for 4.00 that is red background with gold, blue, green, white and black. So much fun for the holidays and all winter long. Have a blessed day and great weekend…I am mailing gifts, Christmas cards, and wrapping a little this weekend.
