28 Days of Spring Fashion (Day 6)

It’s Day 6 of my 28 Days of Spring Fashion! It’s Saturday and we have a lot of “stuff” to do today so I’m going to be short and sweet.

Today’s outfit from Target is a great work wear outfit. It’s springy but comfortable. The striped skirt has a little stretch in it which makes it comfortable to wear all day.

I added a pastel handbag from Charming Charlie (no longer available in the store) and a ring from Stella & Dot.

The sun feels so good and warmer weather is on the way this week. Yay!

  1. We were looking at your post at work trying to put outfits together I said this one last week. Everyone said no way! I say way it’s out the box. That’s where I belong!! Looks great on you!

  2. I love the stripe with the floral, and the blush bag is spot on. That little black blazer is certainly a staple in any wardrobe. I better go buy one, too.

  3. Cyndi,
Thank you for the fabulous website! May I make a suggestion? It would be nice for you to put the date on your posts. This would help if someone is reading a post to know how long ago it was posted. Also, sometimes to mention a beauty product in your clothing posts, but it’s hard to find. Is there anyway you can also put it under the headings at the top of your page? For example, I’m looking for the product that covers gray hair. It would’ve been helpful to locate under “hair”, too. Thanks again. I look forward to seeing your outfits everyday!

      1. Hey Ginger, I found this really great spray at Ultra it is called Gray Away. A can last a long time and it really natural looking. It helps get you to the next color. Hope this helps.

      2. Thanks, Cyndi. It must be an issue with my iPad because I just don’t see a date. It won’t keep me from following you and looking for these great outfits. I really love that you tell us where you get them!

  4. I would have never thought about putting the floral top with the striped skirt, but it’s growing on me. This will be a good outfit for church. I’m been so pleased with all the pieces from Target, especially when some of the pieces will also go with things I already have in my closet. I’m thinking double the outfits!!
It was sweet of your husband to clear the snow for you, and thank you for braving the elements for us the past few days! It’s a sunny 70 degrees in GA today. I hope it will continue to warm up in KY too!!

    Have a great week,
    Penny

  5. I love your site! This concept of wardrobe mixing is fantastic! It’s making me remix my own closet a little bit.

  6. I love mixing textures and patterns – so this just looks adorable to me – great for work, church or going out with the girls!! We decided to go out and about with our daughter – took her to lunch, and then shopped for accent pieces for her cute apartment – sun was shining so we felt like kids!! Here in Minnesota we are actually going to have 2 days next week in the 60’s – can’t believe how lucky we have been this year – my daughter and I are itching to get out and start running on our trails – don’t forget to “spring ahead” and set your clocks everyone!!!

    1. Pull out your favorite spring outfits and get them worn while you have a break in the weather! Spring is coming!

      Blessings,
      Cyndi

    1. I love this outfit too! I have looked at it several times today because I want it so bad and I love how you are using a few super cute and very reasonable priced pieces to make several adorable outfits! I think your style is great!

  7. Such a cute outfit! I love the floral & stripe together! Thank you for great ideas! We spent the day in Pigeon Forge…shopping, dinner & heading home 🙂 Have a wonderful evening!

  8. I would’ve never thought about the floral blouse with the striped skirt but I love it! Great outfit!!

  9. I liked the blazer and skirt. Not sure how I feel about floral with stripes. I’m thinking of going to try on the skirt today. I can’t believe it is ever going to be warm again. Got big time spring fever.

  10. Hi Cyndi, I love all the pieces from Target and I really love the bag!! But, I don’t know if i would wear that blouse with the striped skirt… Thanks for making me think out of the box for future spring outfits. Have fun doing your Saturday stuff.

  11. I would never have thought to mix a floral top with a striped bottom! How cute! You have inspired me so much to think outside of the box I was in. I LOVE this blog!

  12. Love your hair…hope you don’t cut it off…I’ve been dabbling at messy buns…most of the women in my life love them but I’ve had male coworkers ask me if I just ran out of time to do anything to my hair that day…good grief!

    1. I know people just need to not say anything. I am in my fifties and I have decided not everything can be neat. All my adult
Life everything had a place now it’s good to be free. Wear your hair how you want. I love the messy buns. People may be jealous that you are too cute!

  13. Outfit looks really cute on you! Glad to see the sun is out in your neck of of the woods, lol, have a great day! 🙂

  14. Love this outfit on you Cyndi! Wish I could wear that skirt! I have too much “junk in the trunk” for it.
