A Look Back at April 2015

I can’t believe today is the last day of April! What?? Where did this month go??

We spent a couple of weeks traveling so I think that made the month go by quickly. Today I’m taking a look back at April 2015 and sharing some of my most popular posts.

  1. Cyndi,
Did you ever do that drawing for the essential oils premiere pack?
(For people following your blog via email)

  2. There is one dressing situation that I can not figure out…what to wear when you need to run a few places and would expect to be gone about 45 minutes, but you know you will return home to clean or exercise. In that situation, I do not want to actually dress, fix hair & makeup just to get sweaty!
For example, you need cleaning supplies, pick up a vet prescription, and to grab a few forgotten ingredients, then plan to clean, run, and prepare food for weekend company.
What looks presentable and put together, even kinda on-the-go with a clean face and clipped up hair?? At 40, it is hard, at 20 a snap;-)
These kind of days happen every so often to me…and I feel like a ninja trying to duck and dash around my lil town without seeing anyone:-)

  3. Hi Cyndi.
I loved all of your blog posts from April, and I am looking forward to May. 🙂 I was hoping that you may be able to help with what to wear under all of those cute tops and dresses that have some portion of the back exposed. I need ideas of what to wear with all of those cute items that make wearing a normal bra not possible. So many things have cut outs these days. Stitch Fix sent me a cute top a while back, but I returned it because I didn’t know what to wear under it. Sometimes a cami just will not do it since it changes the whole look of the top or dress. What in the world are all of those models wearing under these things???

Thanks for sharing with us. I always look for the email with the link to your blog. 🙂

  4. I’d like to add a hearty “Amen” to all the comments posted so far! Cindi, you are a true Christian that let’s your light shine through. I love the fact that you are so respectful of the Lord’s Day. And add me to those who have already asked about what you wear around the house, and what to wear to church. I attend a tiny country church & I have to say 99% of the women still wear dresses, even the younger women in their 30’s & 40’s. I just turned 60, and a few years ago, broke the barrier and started wearing dress pants & nice crop pants in the summer. Now I’ve noticed that a few of the older women have taken to wearing pants in the fall & winter for warmth. But, we have a few die hards that would never dream of wearing slacks, and that’s okay too! So any styling in that area would be helpful! Bless You for all that inspiration you send our way!

    1. Thank you Gina! I will share some of what I wear around the house and to church. I’ve been on a more casual kick to church lately.
My husband dresses more causal to preach (no tie) so I’ve been wearing pants or very casual dresses.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  5. It was a fun month on your blog for sure! Looking forward to your next fashion series. Would you maybe include a casual outfit that shows what you wear around the house when you’re not going anywhere and/or just relaxing? I always wear the ugliest sweats and I think my hubby is tired of seeing them. I need to update! Ha!
    Thanks for considering.

  6. good on the idea for the what I will wear to church or what I wore .how appropriate the caption and the scripture going on together……………….

  7. Dear Cindi,
I have to agree with Sue’s idea to include “What I wore to Church” outfits. That would be beneficial to many! I want to commend you for keeping Sunday’s focused on Christ and not clothes. You are a true Servant of God inside and out! Also, great recap of your April Blog! I enjoyed each day! Have a blessed weekend!

  8. Cyndi, although you don’t post on Sundays, would you include at least one ‘what I’ll wear or what I wore to church’ in the 26 days of summer. That’s certainly an issue in a lot of churches in the summer.
Thanks for all you do. I really enjoy your blog.
    Sue

    1. Yes I will Sue! Sometimes I do post what I wear, but I just don’t say, I wore this to church. I’ll make sure to include that from now on!
      Blessings,
      Cyndi
