Sunday Encouragement-HOPE

Some weeks one word will come to my mind and I can’t stop thinking about it. Everything I read or see, seems to be about that word.

This week HOPE was the word. Maybe today, someone needs to know there is hope in what they’re going through.

Sunday Encouragement-HOPE

  • So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord! Psalm 31:24
  • I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. Psalm 130:5
  • But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
  • Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
  • May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
  • For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

No matter what you’re going through today, there is hope in front of you. God is holding you!

Have a blessed Sunday!

  1. Thanks for sharing these words today. Sometimes just seeing them from a different perspective can be exactly what a person needs-which is why we should all be willing to share & spread encouraging words! You never know who it will help. 🙂 I LOVE Danny Gokey-and knew this would be the song you’d share before I even saw it. HA!

  2. Cyndi,
Perfect word and verses. Hope was in our message today at church. There IS always hope. Praise God!
    Thank you Cyndi!

  3. Thank you Cyndi. The Lord really is our hope. It is truly amazing how He works. I really need this post today! ❤️

  5. Thank you ever so much for your blog today. Hope is what we have in Jesus. My daughter has made so many bad choices and now we are raising our granddaughter, she is a blessing to us, We have Hope that thru the blood of Jesus our daughter will start making better choices. 6. Good day!
Just started following you from Pinterest. Thanks for sharing your fashion style with all of us fashionistas over 40.
Today’s blog about the word HOPE is truly speaking to me as my 16 year old today receives the sacrament of the Holy Spirit. Keep blogging and bringing inspiration not only via fashion but by word of the Lord! Thanks for sharing!

  7. Thank you Cyndi! As I read the scriptures, my special neighbor came to mind. Her husband passed away Thursday morning after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Fortunately, she is a believer. But right now I know she needs extra Hope and encouragement as she works through the grief.
    God Bless!

    1. Hi Ginger, may God comfort your friend. My husband has Parkinson’s and is just entering the advanced stage now. He is still able to work and the medications help but they cause a host of side effects as well as dealing with the disease symptoms themselves. I pray that the hope that your friend will see her husaband again will ease her pain and that the happy memories will overshadow her present sorrow. God bless.
