Fashion Color Report Fall 2015

fashion-color-report-2015

I know what some of you are thinking, it’s summer, so why are we talking about fall fashion. Well, believe it or not, I’ve been looking ahead to see what we have in store for fall.

The first step as I’m looking at fall fashion is to see what colors are going to be popular. I thought I would share the Pantone Fashion Color Report Fall 2015 with you.

Marsala is the Pantone color of the year but Dried Herb (Olive Green) has to be a very close second because I’m seeing this color everywhere.

If there is one piece I would add to your fall wardrobe, it would be some type of military jacket. I have gotten so much wear out of mine and the trend is not going away.

31 Days Of Fall Fashion (Day 15)

Beauty For the Heart~~This past week, I spent several days with bloggers in Atlanta at the Haven conference. I was so blessed to meet some women who are christians and striving to be like Christ.

We need relationships with other women who are growing in their walk with the Lord. We need the encouragement!!

Let me encourage you to surround yourself with some christian women who will encourage you, pray with you and help you to grow in your relationship with the Lord.

Have a blessed day!

  1. I love the sage military jacket I bought this spring for a great price at Talbot’s. So far I have only worn it with jeans. What alternatives would you suggest? (love that leopard scarf!)

  2. I have to say these colors are not the best for olive skin (that would be me) but the orchid and marsala might work. I am a fall girl though. Thanks for the heads up 😉
    God Bless, MG

  3. Hey Cyndi! I’ve seen these colors already here in clothing and the new Kendra Scott jewelry! Very pretty! Since I’m olive skinned I tend to wear the darker colors on my bottom half and use a brighter version of the dark berry color etc on the top but the orange should work. 🙂

  4. Thanks for sharing the fall colors! I always love the fall more than any other time of the year. My favorite from this list is probably the olive green, but I love the fresh new colors that can brighten up the fall looks a bit. The best part is that I already have some pieces in those colors that will work for fall.

  5. I love the olive green the best Cindy, love wearing boots, jeans and sweaters! Also like the Reflecting Pond!

  6. Love the colors especially the orange and olive green! ( Since I am a redhead!:) I have your green jacket and leopard scarf on my pinterest page from last fall!! Love it!

  7. Cadmium orange is my favorite. Like the olive & teal also. Good to have a heads up! Love beauty for the heart.

  8. Ahhh…the fall season, fall colors, fall fashion…love them all! I’m not a summer girl at all…don’t really like shorts and tanks, but love boots, jeans, and sweaters, so I’m always excited when fall is on its way. I like the dried herb and marsala colors the most.

  9. Hi, Cyndi!

Thank you for all of the research that goes into your blog! It is great to know what colors will be popular this fall. I was afraid they would all be “warm” colors, but I noticed a few that fall in the “cool” category – Yay!

I never thought of getting a “military” type jacket…hmmm.

Thanks for all of the wonderful tips & wisdom.

  10. HI Cyndi, I love that there is color for Fall. I love the marsala and the updated orange and teal, i normally can’t wear orange, but maybe i’ll find one i like. Why have you dropped the “walking with” from your blog name? Just curious, i thought it was so sweet. Amy

  11. I am so excited to see COLOR for fall instead of neutrals; I can’t wait to go try to find some fall pieces in these colors. By the way, I bought three of the Conair blow-dryers for myself and two of my daughters! We all love them and they have really helped in the morning dash to get ready for work! I also ordered the CND nail oil but haven’t received it yet! I’ve shared before that I LOVE your blog and it’s the only one I read on a regular basis. THANKS for sharing your inside and outside beauty!

  12. Love them all I get so excited when the seasons change because when it does it’s time to update or add to the wardrobe. Who wouldn’t love that, looking forward to the cooler weather changing leaves and shopping! So inspired!! Thanks so much and Blessings????????

  13. Hi Cyndi! love your new web design by the way…it looks great!! I like many of the colors you shared. The orchid really pops!! This is the first week we have had really HOT summer weather … in the 90’s. It certainly doesn’t feel like fall is around the corner yet!! Have a blessed day and thanks for sharing 😉

  14. God gave me this same verse this morning hours before I read your blog post. Wow, He is amazing!

I love my military jackets and so happy the are still in style. I like the Marsala and biscay too.

    Blessings

    Beth

  15. I (for once) already have some things in one of the “colors for fall”–the olive green. I LOVE the marsala color and will have to find something in that. Love the oak buff but browns and beiges are not great colors for me. I will try to find something in the reflecting pond or the gray blue- those would both be great neutrals for fall. BUT I am definitely not ready for fall to arrive.

  16. I love fall! I think it is my most favorite time of year, along with Sprng, Summer and Winter :). Seriously though, I do like fall and love the weather and the clothes – boots, jeans, sweaters and let’s not forget FOOTBALL!

  17. LOVE the Dried Herb! So excited to see it is going to continue to be “on trend!” And I love the outfit you featured. I have never been comfortable mixing black pants and shoes/boots from the brown/tan family. But, last winter, I FINALLY dabbled and now, I LOVE IT!! Thanks for reinforcing my new-found love!

  18. I’m glad that orchid color made the list! I like bright colors and they are more flattering to my skin tone.
