Happy Hump Day! I love sharing summer fashion that is simple and comfortable. We are finally getting some pretty weather and I plan on taking full advantage of it!
We talked Monday about this green color for fall but it’s also been popular this summer. I love these green shorts from LOFT. I have them in several different colors. They are 60% off with code: summer60.
The bucket bag was at Nordstrom’s, but it sold out. It was a part of their anniversary sale. I love these leopard print sandals. They work with so many outfits.
You all know I love a heel with my outfits. I found these wedges at Marshall’s. They remind me of the wedge heels that Carrie from A Lovely Little Wardrobe wears. I have been looking for a similar pair and I thought these worked.
I have already worn these wedges a lot. They go with all my short outfits. I found a similar pair here, it’s the same brand and I think they would look great with shorts.

Can you please tell me if your Loft short (at top) are the 4″ or 6″ (inseam) shorts? They look great!
I believe those are 6 in inseam. I know they are not 4 inch. Those would be too short on me.

I love the khaki shorts paired with the black blouse! You look ready for late Summer! I prefer my flats with most of my outfits, only because I haven’t a pair of wedges just yet. I don’t want a pair that is too tall, but maybe a medium height around 3″. Loved the Beauty for the Heart, it was very encouraging. I have to praise the Lord that He has blessed me with a wonderful hubby(of 28 yrs) and 4 children . We have had our arguments and our ups and downs, but with the Lord guiding us each step, together we have had a wonderful life and looking forward to His return for us one day soon – Heaven awaits!!

I just purchased the bucket bag from the Nordstrom sale as well….and although I kept it, I was somewhat disappointed that it did not have any pockets or dividers in it at all. Do you use a separate case to keep things organized in your purse.

I don’t use a separate divider. I know that bothers a lot of people but typically my purses don’t have dividers.
So yes my stuff is not real organized. 🙂

Love the casual simple outfit. I have green shorts and I just bought a similar black tank last week at the Loft. I see this outfit in my near future. Unfortunately I don’t have similar sandals. May have to go looking at clearance! I am not a heel person so no wedges with shorts for me but you look great! Thanks for the ideas!

I just bought a black tank that I love at the Loft on clearance fit great and not low, I couldn’t find it online but did a search for black tank and they have quite a few that might work. Most are on sale. Cyndi might have more recommendation but I thought since I just bought one there I would share. good luck with your search

I have lived in Texas all of my life and this is the first year that I have
opted for simple, comfortable, jersey dresses over shorts…They are soooo
much cooler–to me–so I definitely prefer a heel with them.
I have those same sandals!! if they are aerosole, love them they are very comfy!!! I hit the Loft outlet over the weekend found the shorts they were 14.99, found them to look big on me in the legs, I was so dissapointed! 🙁 was pressured for time with hubby and the kids to shop the tanks/shirts but they had a slew of them all on sale!!!! outfit looks great as usual!
