Old Navy Fall Finds

old-navy-fall-finds It’s hard to believe that my 26 Days of Fall Fashion starts 2 weeks from today!!! I’m super excited because Jo-Lynne Shane is joining me for this series.

We both love to collaborate together and I think it will be fun to see our different styles of fall outfits.

I’ve been trying to brainstorm some things we could do. Possibly a Facebook group where you all shared outfits and we could give you some of our favorite fall tips. I don’t know, would that interest anyone??

Anyway, as you can imagine I’m trying to get ready for this series. I’m looking through magazines and on websites to see what I’m going to share.

Old Navy has some great fall finds this season so I thought I would share them with you. You will probably see some of these during the month of September. 🙂

Beauty For the Heart~~I read in my devotional this morning, “Expect to encounter adversity in your life, remembering that you live in a deeply allen world.”

Wow, how true is that? Adversity is a part of our life but that adversity can draw us closer to Jesus.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:2-4

Have a blessed day!

  1. Would love to see you do a session or part of the fall challenge, as remixing your closet. Now that I’m retired I’ve got a closet full of clothes so I don’t make many new purchases, probably need to try the less is more plan. So rather than showing a new outfit, how about showing 10 or 15 pieces from your closet in several different outfits. Again, love your sense of style Cyndi

  2. I love the FB idea! I’ll be turning 50 in Dec., just got a full time kindergarten teaching position, and am embracing my gray hair. I would love ideas on how to look fashionable, professional, and not look like I’m trying to be thirty-something. My gray hair does affect how some styles that I would love to wear look on me, but I’m not willing to go back to the chemicals and upkeep.

  3. I am awaiting an Old Navy order right now for some plaid pants and jogger pants in preparation for Fall/Winter. I would love a Facebook page where everyone gets together to embrace the season and chat about it.

  4. I agree with the gal who would like to see some “what not to wear.” It might give us a good laugh! I’d also enjoy more health and beauty blogging featuring beauty products, Young Living info and perhaps some of your favorite healthy-living recipes.

  5. I like that you and Jo-Lynne are going to join forces in sharing your fall fashion ideas. The idea of a FB group is great.

I am looking forward to fall because my birthday is in October, hunting season opens, and I’m going to donate the majority of my spring/summer clothes to get a start at living with less.

    God bless!

  6. I love #1 in the old Navy pictures but it looks like a jacket and the link is pointing to a cardigan. Isn’t it an olive jacket? Would love to see the Facebook group. Sounds fun 🙂

  7. Love the FB idea! Not super in love with Old Navy, just kind of disposable clothing, I am finding that as I get older, I would rather buy higher quality clothing that will last. That being said, I love Target! Looking forward to the fall fashions. I have tons of time before fall, in Florida, October will still be blazing hot!

  8. I would love to see women of varying body types wearing the fall fashions. We are not all a size 6. Some of us are plus size and others may have cool ways to tweak the newest fashions to make them their own.
Frankly, I would like to see a few less pictures on this blog and a lot more emphasis on the Beauty from the Heart. That is always the first thing I look at and it really gives me lots to think about! Thank you for letting the Lord lead you, Cyndi!

    1. Hi Julie,
You brought up some good points, however, there are some Christian plus size fashion blogs that might fit your needs if you’re not connecting with Cyndi’s. I follow a few blogs that are each different, and they are a good balance of spiritual and fashion, etc.
      Hope that helps

  9. I would love to see a facebook page. I follow both you and Jolynne and would love to see what you and others have to share for fall.

  10. Yes!! I would love to join your FB group!! Looking forward to Fall and boots and pumpkin spice scents and my birthday!! ?
    Blessings to you!!

  11. As the weather cools, I’d like to take advantage of the great scarves out there. But, styling them along with the trending necklaces (and the layered jewelry) is giving me pause. It would be nice if you’d share some options for putting scarves and necklaces together.

  12. Cyndi, I think that a Facebook group would be great fun! I would also really like to see how you transition different items of clothing from summer to fall. I love your Beauty for the Heart scriptures and look forward to your posts!

  13. I love the FB idea. Looking forward to the 26 Days of Fall Fashion. I prefer seeing you and Jo-Lynne modeling the outfits versus just seeing a photo of the clothing. It gives me a better idea of how it looks on.

Thank you for the devotional and scripture verses. When things of this world get us down, we have to remember that we already know how this will turn out in the end…. Jesus wins!

“This is my commandment: love one another, as I have loved you.” – John 15:12

  14. I would love to see pictures of what others are wearing,. I am plus size and not always sure what would work for me

  15. Living in FL, fall can’t come fast enough! Bring it!!

I’ll be keeping my eyes out for the utility jacket. Could be the perfect weight for our mild fall/winter.
I wear skinny jeans pretty much all year….with sandals & flats spring/summer and pumps & boots for fall/winter.
Pinterest posted a cute look yesterday; black skinny jeans, blue button down shirt and black heels. Casually, sophisticated!

  16. I think it would be fun to have a “What Not to Wear” Christian style! It would include what is not working as well as what IS working!

  17. I love the idea of a facebook page to share ideas! Thanks for all you do, Cyndi! I enjoy your blog so much!

  18. Yes to the FB group. I love/want the utility jacket, cross-body bag, and loafers. Must get me to Old Navy stat.

  19. Hi Cyndi
So excited about fall, like you I look at magazines, web sites ect. To see what’s in for the season. The closer it gets some items get harder to find. Love your blog ideas and most of all where to find the items you share. So can’t wait for the FALL!!

  20. How exciting that your friend, Jo-Lynne, will be joining you! I’m looking forward to the Fall Series!! The utility jacket is on my must have list!
I think having a group fb page is a wonderful idea!! There has been so many times that I’ve wanted to share a photo, and of course, we can’t on your blog.

    Penny?

  21. Adversity seems to be part of my life. But there is victory in Jesus. The old navy where I live is not so good. But we do have a nice Loft. I have also found some cute things in Dress Barn. Never shopped there til a friend mentioned to me. Good prices. The combo of you with Jo Lynne will be great!

  22. I’m anxious to know if those d’orsay flats are comfortable enough to be practical. Old Navy shoes tend to kill my feet so I usually stay away, but I’ve been eyeing these for several days now! Very excited for your fall fashion even though we have awhile yet before I can really transition here in this TX heat!

  23. Good morning! I’m curious how (or if) you will transition the ankle pants from Old Navy into fall? I love mine and am not ready to let them go.

    1. Dianna, ankle pants look great with a cute pair of booties. If your ankle pants are skinny enough, they even work with tall boots. they also look great paired with flats too.
Living in GA, our weather usually allows me to wear ankle pants way into the Fall.
