26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)

26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)
Well, happy Saturday and welcome to Day 23 of my 26 Days of Fall Fashion. For today’s post, Jo-Lynne and I are teaming up with the lovely ladies of MomTrends and BonBon Rose Girls for a Game Day Style collab.

I have to say Kentucky is not known for their football, we are a basketball state! I still like to watch the football games, even though we don’t usually go to the games.

So I’m styling what I would wear if we had a game day party with family and friends. I do love Kentucky’s colors, they’re royal blue and white.

I’m wearing the INC blouse from Macy’s. It comes in several different colors but I love the royal blue.

I added a white lace tank underneath and some big silver earrings.

It was windy while I was taking these pictures, cooler weather was blowing in!

26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)I’m wearing these open toe black heels since the weather is still warm.

26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)On another note, we’ve been doing some fall decorating around the house. This is my front porch.

26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)I added some hay bales and mums to my fireplace. I love to decorate this time of year. It always seems like as soon as I put the pumpkins out, I’m taking them down and decorating for Christmas!

26 Days of Fall Fashion (Day 23)What is your favorite time of year to decorate your home?

Make sure you stop by and see what Jo-Lynne, MomTrends and BonBon Rose Girls are styling for Game Day.

Beauty for the Heart~~My family loves competition and we are a competitive family. We like to win!

Sports are fun and if you’re going to be good, you have to train. But there is something much more important than physical training and that is training to be more like Christ. That training will last through eternity.

1 Timothy 4:8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” (NLT)

Have a blessed Saturday!

  1. I love decorating for most all the holidays but Fall is a favorite! Your porch and fireplace look lovely! We don’t live on a farm but we do live on an acre outside of town and it has a very country feel, yet we’re connected with lots of great neighbors! Each summer we plant pumpkins with our Grand-daughters and they help us watch them grow and turn their beautiful orange! I love to have plenty of pumpkins to set out around my yard and in our home and the grandkids have plenty of pumpkins to carve later. Every October we have Harvest Festival day in our backyard with our family! Our Grand-daughters love to help Papa load his trailer tractor with many, many pumpkins and gourds! I plan lots of fun activities for everyone and of course yummy food is a given to bring love, laughter and celebration to the spirit of our Harvest Festival! You’d have a great time with your Grandson and family on a small farm!

  2. Hmmmm…I must not be getting your newsletter. Can’t imagine I’m not subscribed. I hope your house sells quickly if that’s your desire.

    1. Just saw it…I have to click over to the blog in order to read the comments (one of the best things about your blog!) and I guess I did it too soon. I know how Wayne feels: when you grow up out on your own land it is hard to live shoulder-to-shoulder. I hope the transition goes smoothly for you. Moving can be stressful even if it’s your choice and otherwise exciting!

    1. Hey Teresa,
I shared about our decision to move in my email that I send out to my subscribers. Sometimes I tell things in my email before I put it on my blog. 🙂
We are wanting to buy a small farm so that’s why our home is for sale.
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  3. I love the royal blue on you…a color I rarely ever look for, but usually looks good on all skin types! Good luck to you & Wayne as you look forward to a move. I know you have prayed about this & God will move things in his perfect timing. Love your fall decorating, so festive! Have a blessed weekend 🙂

  4. Even dressed casually you look so put together. I guess it comes natural to some. Love that blue and your shoes are to die for.
Make the move! We sometimes get stuck in life. If you would like more land, then go for it. I’m sure you’ll have no regrets and think of the fun the grandchildren will have on a farm.

  5. Love your fall decor and your beauty for the heart. I love fall decorating the best and I’m in the process of filling up an old wheelbarrow with pumpkins and fall flowers. I could probably use you & Traci to help me finish it today. 🙂

  6. Love you outfit, as usual. The blue is gorgeous and I like adding a tank to peek out. Those shoes are just tooo cute!
You are not crazy to move at “this” age!!! We bought land and built our home ourselves other than foundation, framing and roofing. We were nearly 60 when we started our project and have loved our home which is now 10 years old. Go for it, girl!!!

  7. Oh, your blouse looks terrific on you and so comfortable, and I am in love with those darling open toe heels! Great look for fall, and I love how your good spirit shines through on your blog! 🙂

  8. I love the royal blue top Cyndi! That is a great color on you! Your Fall decorations are beautiful. I still haven’t gotten mine out, but need too. Christmas is my favorite holiday to decorate for because I love celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Savior! I always have those decorations out by Thanksgiving weekend. Have a blessed weekend! Good luck on selling your home. There’s no time like the present, so go for it! We have our smaller retirement home on 50 acres and a rental home on 50 adjourn get acres with a lake, out in the country on a dirt road. We love it! God bless!

  9. You have a lovely home! This is my favorite time of year to decorate my home as I love the warm colors. What a pretty blue blouse today! Great color on you and such a classy outfit for a game day party.

    1. Love the blue on you. I also do not think you are crazy about moving and wanting more space. It also could be because we just did the same thing. Welcome to the club. ?

  10. I love your outfit! That blue is fantastic on you. Your home is decorated beautifully. I’m going to try recreate your fireplace decor and porch! Thank you for your wonderful tips!

  11. Love the royal blue! I’m a teacher and it is our school color. Macy’s website says goddess blue is that the same blue? It looks darker. Thank you!!

  12. Good morning

Eventho it does feel like here Delaware yet.lol we are still have upper 70s and 80s degree days. Thankful not as humid. I wish you the best in the sale of your home. Also i called Glamour Farm and ordered the clutch you had yesterday. Can’t wait to get it!

  13. Love royal also. But I have to go with red&black today. GEORGIA. Go dawgs. Such a cute outfit. Love the blouse. Will check it out.

  14. Hi Cyndi,
Your fall decorations are very pretty:)
I really like your toe polish, would you mind telling us what color/name. OPI??
    Have a great weekend!

    1. And while you are telling the toe polish color, could you tell where you got those shoes? I think you have some very similar in another color on another day. They kind of scare me (I have big legs) but I like them SO much and living in Texas, it’s not quite cold enough (since it’s still in the 90s) for boots.

    2. Okay I finally found out what color I have on my toes! It’s OPI, You Don’t Know Jacques! If you google it , you’ll see the color.
Sorry it took me so long.
      Cyndi

  15. I love decorating my home as much as fashion, but I think they go hand and hand! I enjoy adorning my house with Fall decor and love decorating for Christmas! Love your Fall decor and KY blue looks great on you!

    Have a great weekend! ?????

  16. I am adding more decorations to my home today. Can you ever have too many? I love all seasons but fall is my favorite. Maybe its because we have so much to be thankful for even amidst all the earthly problems be endure. God is good! love your look today! I love blouses like that and wear all black to work so I have several in black. You look so beautiful in blue I may have to splurge on some colorful ones! Thank you for all your daily inspirations. This truly makes my day to ponder your quotes and thoughts throughout my day.

  17. Hi Cyndi,
Love the KY blues and am wearing them today also!!! Woot-Woot!! But I am much like you, Ky is not known for a great football team, but I love sporting our colors!! Love the blouse and shoes-of which you style beautifully!!
I love every season, I don’t think I have a favorite. I do more decorating from September into December but I love each season as it comes in and glad for each change in weather !! Yes, even winter, I love the snow!
You are sooo right…. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. People get too caught up in their body’s and forget to praise the one(Jesus Christ) who made them who they are. It takes all different nationalities to make up this wonderful world, and Jesus died for each and every one ! <3
