Men’s Fall Boot Trend by Rack Room Shoes

Men's Fall Boot Trend 1We are changing gears today and talking about Men’s Fashion. I’m excited to be partnering with Rack Room Shoes to bring you the Men’s Fall Boot Trend.

Rack Room Shoes offers on-trend footwear for the entire family through a wide selection of nationally recognized and private brands of great shoes.

They have a great selection of boots and my sweet husband agreed to model his boots from Rack Room shoes. He is styling the Varese Gobi II Men’s Boot and the Franco Fortini Aussie Bloke Men’s Boot.

men's fall boot trendI think Wayne’s fashion has changed over the years (thank goodness and don’t tell him I said that!). He likes a classic style but he likes to add some current trends to his wardrobe.

When he styled the black boot, he went with the slim five pocket cord pant from Banana Republic. He also added a burgundy crewneck sweater. Burgundy is a popular color for fall not only for women but for men too!

These are a great casual boot for everyday wear!

Beauty For the Heart~~Since I’m styling my husband today, I can’t help but talk about marriage. Wayne and I have an amazing marriage but not because it has been easy.

I don’t think marriage is ever easy, it takes work but we have both been committed to making our marriage the best it can be.

Sometime I want to share about all the obstacles we have overcome. Very few people were “for us” when we married.

We claimed, Romans 8:31, If God is for us, who can be against us? That verse is inscribed on both of our wedding bands.

We have strived to put God first in our marriage and although we are not perfect, we are thankful to serve a perfect God who loves us and is for us!!

Have a blessed day!

  1. Wayne is adorable and such a sport to let you use him to post on men’s fashions! My husband and my son are 6’7″, so not all trends are available in their sizes right away….although it’s much better shopping now than it was when my husband was young.

I was touched by your Beauty for the Heart. I, too, remember feeling like not too many people were for us when Chip & I married in 1988. (His 4 older sisters told me I wasn’t who they’d chosen for him. What kind of thing is that to say to someone coming into your family? I did everything I could to make sure my DIL feels welcome! How could I not love someone who loves my son so much???) Yet, here we are, 27 years later. No, it’s not easy but I wouldn’t want life without him. God is ever present in us and our marriage. How do people make it without God?

  2. I love all those boots you pictured! In 17 years of marriage I’ve been able to get my husband to “shop” maybe 4 times! Twice were for suits – 11 years apart. I dress him and he will be getting some boots this season. I’m a little tired of white tennis shoes………….!!

  3. Thank you for sharing some men’s styles and hope there will be more in the future. I just started following you recently because I enjoy your styles and your Christian Love shared in your daily verses, etc. My husband and I just celebrated our 36th anniversary. I am in my mid 50s and have been told I look very young and I am so excited to have help with what is in style to wear by following your posts. I want to always try to look my best and you have been a big help. And I will also be looking to help my husband’s wardrobe too with these great looks styled by your husband. Thanks so much!

  4. Loved the pictures. Were they taken at Shakertown? love your blog…and although I am several years older I love to incorporate your ideas into my own wardrobe. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Loved the looks Wayne modeled. You touched people when you shared your wedding ring inscription. I wonder why so many people are opposed to couples wanting to commit themselves to marriage. Thanks for this post.

  6. Hey Wayne! Great job. You look terrific! And what were you pointing at? Lol :-). Love your outfits and boots. I too will share these with my husband. Thx to both of you for sharing today. God bless you.

  7. Thank you SO MUCH Wayne for modeling men’s latest look! I struggle with getting my husband to wear up to date clothes to the point I don’t know where to start with helping him when he asks for advice. Please, please do this on a more frequent basis!

  8. What a handsome model Wayne makes! And you style him as well as yourself! Nice outfit. I’m going to show the boots to my husband. He’s stuck in a fashion rut and needs a makeover! Thanks Wayne and would like to see more!

  9. Great boots! I love the jeans, plaid shirt, and vest too! Not many people were for us when we got married, but we will soon celebrate 25 years of marriage. God is good!

  10. Way to go Wayne! I think it’s awesome that he is such a good sport and willing to pose and have fun with the post. You two make a very handsome couple!! As for boots (or anything else), my guy is way too picky so he does his own looking/purchasing. And I’m okay with that! 🙂

  11. My hubby is addicted to khaki pants (Dad pants). Any posts you and Wayne have planned that addresses different pants options with the comfort of khakis would be so appreciated!

  12. This is a great casual style. My DH loves anything I buy him, but never wears it. He says he wants to “save” it for a special occasion. He does like me to go shopping with him and he usually buys multiples of the same pants. I finally persuaded him to buy another style of Clark’s in addition to those he’s been wearing since high school, but it has been a struggle convincing him to buy a new pair of gym shoes. I don’t understand his reasoning, but he doesn’t care what I wear, so it works out.

  13. Very few people were for “us” when we married either. We anticipate celebrating 30 years next summer. Your husband is such a good sport and model. Love this post, Cyndi!

  14. What a kind cooperative husband you have! Tell him he did a great job as your model!

    Thanks for all you do!
    Amy

  15. Kuddos to Wayne! Thanks for doing this post. I can’t wait to show this to my husband. He needs to treat himself to a little style. 🙂

  16. Your husband looks great and is a good sport. I’m going to show this to my husband in hopes that I can get him to go shopping! Love the boots.

  17. Such a great post! Love the boots and the outfits your husband is styling! Y’all are such an inspiration, and so so cute!?

  18. My husband would never pose in an outfit and if he did he wouldn’t smile! BUT he DOES like clothes. This was a fun post. I bet he’s getting some good teasing from his buddies. Too cute!
The pointing pose is my favorite. Looking forward to hearing your marriage stories when the someday comes.

  19. Awwwww, look how cute he is and what a trooper 🙂 Love the outfits and tell Wayne thanks for cooperating. Y’all just make the cutest couple and I know what you mean about people not being for you. When my husband and I married we went through the same thing with his family and our co-workers. He was 23, I was 27 with 2 children. We celebrated 24 years in September. After the honeymoon period our first couple of years were extremely difficult. Looking back I knew what marriage, kids, etc. was supposed to look like, he had no clue. We got through it though and here we are. One Valentine’s Day several years ago my husband gave me a card that came with a CD which was Looks Like We Made it by Shania Twain. Very fitting for us. It’s not a cakewalk and we definitely still have our moments but I know we’re in this together for life. Now, later today I’m off to Rack Room Shoes to get my husband out of his athletic shoes and into something a bit more fashionable 🙂

  20. congratulations on successfully corralling your husband for the photo shoot. my vote is that he is pointing toward that farm you are going to purchase.
curious to know if this will create a commute for church and shopping ?? Looking forward to your book.

  21. Thank you, Wayne! You were a great sport and your look is very handsome.

Cyndi, you are so correct in saying, that marriage is work. Both people have to be committed to the marriage and both have to want to make it work. There is a lot to the saying, “don’t sweat the small stuff.” And it is extremely important to put God first!

    Have a blessed day!

  22. What a good sport DH was to do this for you. My husband is the pickiest guy in the world when it comes to shoes. I love the black version styled here. I can just hear my guy picking them apart because of the contrasting sole color, which by the way is why I like them, lol.

I’ve had such succes with pushing him with clothing, but get out of the way when it comes to shoes for him…

  23. Love this! and what a good sport he is. You two are just too cute! Why anyone would be “against” you is beyond me, but good for y’all – love the verse, and I know you just celebrated an anniversary together so I guess you’ve shown the nay-sayers!
Keep up the good work – Wayne will point the way 🙂 🙂 🙂

  24. He is doing the typical old school JC Penney catalog pose where they point to something in the distance – haha! He did a great job and I love his “outfits”!

    1. That’s my thought exactly! He’s probably looking at poses right now for the next shoot!
      This post was too cute!

  25. Haha! Loved seeing the hubs in the blog!! Funnily enough I was just shopping for new boots for my husband, thanks for the great tips as always!

  26. Thankfully my husband prefers to by his own clothes and shoes. He shops and buys most everything at Macy’s! He tends to buy several items at once and usually online. Occasionally he shops at Academy or Bass Pro. Thanks for the post it was cute!
We’ve been married 15 years and when times have been tough it’s been the Word of God that has kept things in the right direction. Forgive, forgive, forgive!

  27. Oh Cyndy, thank Wayne for the great belly laugh I got out of his poses! It’s nice to know another woman struggles to get a decent photo of her hubby! What a good sport he is. Loved today’s post and fashion advice for our men :). Since I found you I shop better and am even able to give on trend advice to my 26 year old daughter (she even took me shopping with her to help pick out her clothes for her honeymoon…you have no idea how much you influenced her honeymoon wardrobe!).

  28. Aw, he looks great, and I love seeing the men’s fashion! Great pics, and I love your backgrounds. Fashion is kind of tough for men sometimes – they don’t want to look like they’re trying too hard, but they need to look pulled together and current. Hope you will do more of this!

  29. What a fun idea! Now I can share with my husband and show him that the cool, trendy boots we see our young church worship team guys wearing can also work for his classic/conservative wardrobe. And I agree with previous comments–you two are adorable & it would be a lot of fun to see you two in pictures together. (Pointing, of course!)

  30. I hear you, when we were getting married not even our pastor wanted to marry us as my husband is black and I am white. Still to this day there are issues with his family, but God is faithful and we are committed and just celebrated 36 years.

  31. I can so relate to the feeling of “very few were for us” when we got married. My husband and I often joke about what the non-supporters think now after 12 1/2 years of marriage. We surely had a lot of tests to come our way prior to and during the 1st couple of years. We have made it through and I think so much stronger. In fact our love is a constant and I feel like a teenager most of the time. My tummy still flips for him.

Enjoy your day and love the wardrobe choices for your hubby. He is rocking the hip look.

  32. OMW (Oh My Word) !!!!

Awesome pics and you two need to have a photo together.

My husband and I have the same scripture that we used in our wedding ceremony for that very reason.

Keep up the men’s fashion….I’m sharing Wayne’s photos with my husband.

  33. Too funny! Thanks for the ideas . . . my husband has always told me to “just buy it and I’ll wear it!’ He has his limits though, nothing floral – pink or purple. I must say I agree, those are not his patterns or colors.

  34. Cyndi, what a trooper Wayne is to style men’s fashion for you and no camo and a scarf! Wow! I loved this post and all the pictures! I will share with Mike tonight! ?

  35. Awww…what a good sport! I know what you mean when you say you’re glad that your husband’s style has improved over the years. Mine made some very questionable fashion choices over the years, but he’s pretty good now. 🙂 Wayne’s outfits look great!
