Welcome to Day 5 of 25 Days of Winter Fashion! I recently read in Glamour magazine that 2015 is going to be the year of the sweaterdress.
So I thought I’d join in and wear this classic sweaterdress from Glamour Farms. I wore it to church on Sunday with these brown boots.
The dress has some stretch in it which makes it really comfortable. You could wear black or brown leggings with it when the weather turns colder.
I added a couple of bracelets and and my gold watch. My tassel bracelet is from Accessory Concierge. They have some cute jewelry! They have a this bracelet for $25 that is similar to the renegade cluster bracelet from Stella & Dot that is $59.
I also carried this handbag. This is a larger handbag with a larger zipper pocket in the middle. It’s big enough that I put my Bible in it for church!

Beauty For the Heart~~I don’t know if you watch The Voice but last night, a young man from Kentucky belted out the song “Great is thy Faithfulness” and I sat there with chills all over my body.
In the midst of everything our world is going through everyone agreed we needed to hear that song. Not only do we need to hear it, we need to turn to God!
“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

I love your outfit. I wear sweater dresses to church all winter n Michigan. I wear them with tights and boots or flats. Very easy to accessorize.
Hi Cyndi! I really enjoy seeing the outfits you post each day. There is something I would love to see you post in your winter outfits series…what to wear on Christmas morning! I would love to have some cute pajamas or a lounge outfit so I don’t look terrible in all of the pictures we take while opening presents. I know when I’m older I will regret that I never want to be in our home videos. Think about it….when else are you ever photographed in your pajamas? Can you be stylish when your kids wake you up at 4:30 am?

Great dress, too! I really like these boots too. I also think a pair of cognac riding boots would go well with this dress. I wish the dress came in other colors–this color isn’t good for me in the winter–makes me look pastey.

I saw The Voice last night, too. How lovely in today’s world that a young man can sing a hymn and receive a standing ovation! It was so uplifting. Cyndi, it would be helpful if you would advise on sizing of this dress. Sometimes those sweater dresses can hug us in places we don’t really want!! I love the winter white!! So versatile!!

Yes!! Wasn’t last nights The Voice was so great! I loved how even the people’s who do t typically identify as Christian realized the power in that song! And we know that Power is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! Every knee will bow….

I did catch the Voice and Jordan sang beautifully……I love the sweater dress, the boots aren’t for me but you…..my dear….can pull them off! I would probably have gone for the safer bet of dresser riding boots but it’s good to stretch our comfort zone, right?
This dress is darling, Cyndi! I just bought another sweater dress–I’ve found that I love them!
For years I wouldn’t wear sweater dresses. Because of my medical disorder, one of my legs has a big birthmark and also is larger than the other leg. I felt self-conscious that my body didn’t look right under a sweater dress. But if I wear control-top tights, the discrepancy in my legs all but disappears and my birthmark is hidden. I’ve discovered that I really like sweater dresses, and I get lots of compliments when I wear them.
I’d say that the key is getting a dress that fits properly. This is one piece of clothing that you most definitely don’t want too tight, but you also don’t want it so loose that it just hangs on you.

I remember wearing a teal sweater dress in my 20’s. I like this dress and the purse. I think boots with a heel would look more flattering.
