Happy Saturday ladies! Today I’m styling some winter trends that I am loving this year.

Beauty For the Heart~~Several years ago I went through a season of fear. I don’t know why (although I think it had something to do with hormones).
There was a verse I memorized during that time. I wrote it out on note cards and put it in several different places in my home as a constant reminder.
2 Timothy 1:7, For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
Over time I realized God didn’t want me to live in fear. We need to live with the confidence that we are in the palm of His hands.

I love the leather jacket outfit. I wore a similar outfit just last night! I like the black tee you have on better that the loft version. Looks like yours is longer and rounded tail. Any idea where you got it?

I have loved your post and your advice. I was particularly touched today by your comment on your season of fear, I went through one too and mine was brought on by hormones too. God is so good to give us His word to comfort us in those times. Philippians 4 meant so very much to me.

I commute to work about 30 miles to work. Recently, I have developed a fearful attitude during my drive. Mostly due to recent flooding in Texas. I am encouraged that you past through this season.

As always, love the Beauty for the Heart and the scripture. My inside Christmas decorating is done and I’m loving playing the Christmas music! We need to get our outside decorating done this weekend. Our home can’t be seen from the road, so it’s more for us than anyone else.

Thank you for a much needed reminder that God carries each and everyone of us daily. I personally have been dealing with so many issues in my life that sometimes I forget God has got this.
