Welcome to 25 Days of Winter Fashion today is Day 23! Well, if you can’t beat them, join them. This weather is warm so I’m ditching the boots and bringing out my flats.
This is a running some errands outfit. It’s casual and I’m mixing patterns with buffalo plaid and leopard print.
I’m keeping my jewelry simple with my watch and bracelet.
These are my very favorite pair of LOFT jeans and they don’t have them available any more. They are an ankle zip jean and are great to wear with flats.
I’m going to soak up this warmer weather because cold air is going to blow back in!

Beauty For the Heart~~My Special Time
There are tinsel and holly and songs to be sung. There are bright lights and candies and bells to be rung. There are shopping trips here and there and everywhere. And folks hiding things with no time to spare. There are cards to write and visits from friends. And it seems cookie baking just never ends. But there’s one special time that I like the best. What is it? I’ll tell you, if you haven’t yet guessed. When all are in bed, I tiptoe back down. And pretend that I’m standing there in Bethlehem town. I look at at the star in the creche and I think. I’m there with the shepherds quick as a wink. And I’m beside the manger of hay. The place where Christ Jesus, that sweet baby lay. It’s a very special time just between God and me. And I thank Him that Christmas will always be! ~Anonymus

Today I wore a buffalo red/black check vest and my leopard print flats for a family Christmas. Cyndi, I love every last outfit that you wear! I am a new follower, and I love the way your love for Jesus shines through everything you do! As far as fashion is concerned, I have a question for you. I’m a 50 year old teacher of second graders, who is allowed to dress quite casually, but rarely ever jeans. Could you style some outfits for some teachers that don’t involve denim? Great outfit — it’s almost impossible to find zip up capris that fit so well anymore. I had a pair like this back in the 80’s that I wish I still had now!

I’m usually not a plaid/leopard print mix lover….but I like yours. Maybe because they are separated and the leopard print is not overpowering!! I’d definitely do this (after I buy myself a plaid blouse–ha ha)!
