We are going to have a warm Christmas. Is your weather crazy this year??

Beauty for the Heart~~Christmas is a special time of year but there are many people who struggle during the holidays. Some are spending their first Christmas without a loved one. Many military families are not able to spend Christmas together.

If there’s someone you know who is having a difficult Christmas think of a way you can encourage them. Maybe a phone call or a text letting them know you’re thinking of them!

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5;11

Have a blessed day!

  1. Crazy weather yes!!! I had to pull over 3 times coming home from Louisville bc the rain was so bad I couldn’t see the road. I was all set to buy the scarf upon site-will look for a similar style somewhere else. Happy New Year!

  2. Hey there! My niece and nephew had the top down on the convertible yesterday in Versailles. Crazy weather. You guys are usually snowed in for days!!! Love your look, as always. Wishing you a merry Christmas and continued blessings this year. Reviewed a great, great Christmas book on my blog. I think you would love to share it with your grandson. The Christmas Tapestry!

  3. We are expecting record setting mid 80’s for Christmas. It has been so hot and humid. It’s gonna be presents by the pool and grilling out for dinner. You’ve got to embrace what you have!

  4. Another adorable outfit. I hope you have a Merry one with all your family, even if it won’t be a green one this year. I went running in shorts today! I think that’s a first for Xmas time. 🙂 Love you Beauty fo the Heart today. It is a hard time for so many of us.

  5. I think this is one of my favorites Cindy!! I love it. Thank you for all you do…and may your Christmas be merry and filled with the joy of the Lord! 😊

  6. No, we are actually having a ‘real’ with snow in the mountains. It is nice after a few years of drought.

I have a semi weird question. What is your definition of a tunic? I would have said that you were wearing a dress.

    Have a Merry Christmas!

    1. Hey Heather,
They called it a tunic on the website so I called it a tunic. 🙂 It is probably a little short for me to wear it without tights so it’s more of a tunic for me vs. a dress.
      Merry Christmas!
      Cyndi

  7. LOVE the tunic. Unfortunately Glamour Farms sizes seem to run small. Their XL is a size 12 when really an XL should be at least a 14 or 16. I wear a 12 or 14 but I don’t like anything fitted. (Yes I need to lose weight. I hope I will be successful ths year.)

    But keep sharing the ideas!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Blessed 2016!

  8. Cyndi,

You are a blessing and a light in this world!! Thanks for all you do and for pointing us to Jesus. So thankful I’ve found your blog, you’ve helped me so much as I’ve been struggling more with fashion in my 40’s. Have a Merry Christmas!!

  9. Love this outfit, I like that you wore brown leggings instead of black, a new way to switch things up. you are always so stylish :)!! And for the reminder to encourage those who are struggling at the holidays…may the peace of christ be in all our heart. God Bless you and your family Cyndi!

  10. Love this comfy outfit. looks so cute. I have the scarf and love it too! Merry Christmas to you and all of your family members. Praying especially for Traci and her “little girl” ;-( Thx for all you do to share with us each day.. You are a blessing to so many Cyndi 😉

  11. Love the outfit looks very comfortable for a Christmas Eve activity. Merry Christmas and god Bless you through out the New Year.

  12. Yes, so many hurting at all times, but at this special time of the year it seems to stand out even more. Just yesterday a former student of mine, young woman now with a baby, died in a horrible wreck. And last night a dear older woman in our church passed away. I know you understand, Cyndi, the life of a minister and his wife and how many hurting need us. Sometimes it’s hard to be festive in your own home at these times.

We must remember that Jesus came to earth to save us and give us hope through all this.

  13. Crazy, record-breaking weather in Michigan, too, and like you I really WANT to wear my cozy stuff. I’m realizing I don’t have a lot of transitional wear although layering really helps.

  14. I love love this outfit! The weather is throwing all of us for a loop this holiday season. I live in Upstate New York and Christmas Eve Day is supposed to reach 71 degrees! And by doing so, break a record. Crazy! Anyway, thank you for sharing your outfits and faith with us each day. Merry Christmas!
    Mary

  15. Like in KY, we’re having rain and warm temps in GA. We may be up to 74 or 75 the next two days, breaking records.

I love the tunic! It does look so comfy and very versatile. I would have never thought to wear brown leggings and brown boots with it.

Your Beauty for the Heart is so true. A metro Atlanta pastors 16 yr. old son died in an automobile accident the end of last week. He said, “yes” they are hurting big time and don’t understand why them. And our next door neighbor lost her husband of 50+ years in June.

    Have a blessed day!

  16. Love your outfit. We’ve been having some of the warmer weather, too. It was nice not to have to take a coat on & off while shopping yesterday. 🙂

  17. I’m sure you know that you’ve save so many women the time and effort of going to the store(s) to put together a complete outfit. I just love all of the styles, and buy something almost each day of what you wear because it’s affordable and has been screened for being age appropriate. It’s really very nice of you to share your beauty secrets, too. Thank you!! I almost joined Stich Fix, but couldn’t describe my style exactly. Now, if I decide to join, I will mention you as my benchmark. As God continues to bless us all, may you and your family have a Merry Christmas:-)

  18. “The weather outside is frightful” here in Colorado anyway! It’s 26 degrees right now, frosty and we got fresly fallen snow last night atop 6″ of already fallen snow from last week! I’m loving the beauty and mood of a beautiful white scene outdoors, especially since I get to stay inside where it’s warm today! Yes, this time of year many are lonely and hurting and there are things we can all do to hug them through their pain.

  19. New reader here!! I subscribed via email and have been loving your posts. I’m a 37 yo mom to 4 littles and love fashion & Jesus ;). The leggings post and this one make me curious. Do you wear a slip or something to keep the dress from clinging to the leggings?? Maybe it’s just me, but I have this problem with some lighter weight tunics.

    1. Hi Leigh Anne!! So nice to meet you. I don’t wear a slip but yes it does cling a little bit. I have the same problem. I don’t think it shows up as bad in a darker tunic if that makes sense!!
      Merry Christmas,
      Cyndi

  20. Love today’s look, especially for our crazy Kentucky weather. I was finally able to get this scarf a couple of weeks ago before it sold out. It looks great with many different outfits. Thanks, Cindi!

Your Beauty for the Heart is right on target. You have given me a great idea.

Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

  21. Love that. So cute. Hot here in Savannah also. A challenge to find something to wear without getting summer back out. But so much to be thankful for.

  22. So true Cyndi
Thank you for reminding me to pray for so many lonely, sick and hurting!
Love the tunic.. What difference a scarf makes.
We are enjoying fifty degrees in
    Chicago!
Best wishes Merry Christmas to your
    Family!

  23. You know every year I anxiously check the forecast for Christmas as soon as it’s available, lol. I live in Texas, so it’s always possible we’ll have shorts weather! Unfortunately, that will be the case this year, it’s supposed to be near 80. I can’t believe so many other more northern areas will be too. At least you’ve given us a great alternative to sweaters and coats. You look comfy and festive..love it!
