Begin The New Year Without Regrets

Begin-The-New-Year-Without-RegretsWe only have a few days left in 2015. I like to take a look back and evaluate my year. Where did I struggle, did I grow in my relationship with the Lord??

I want to begin the New Year without regrets. There are some things I need to let go of, I don’t want to drag all my regrets from last year into the New Year.

I want to repent, I want to forgive, and I want to move on.

Philippians 3:12-14 from The Message says, “I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.”

Let’s begin the new year striving for more of Jesus!

If you’re reading this and you think you might have too much sin in your past let me remind you…..Christ died for our sins and he offers His grace freely to those who believe.

I have been praying about leading a 4 week Bible study on Hope starting in January. I would have a private Facebook group for us to encourage each other.

Would you be interested?? Let me know!!

  1. I’d live to be a part of your devotional study. Everyone could use a bit of HOPE to start the new year off right.

  2. Is it too late to sign up for your Bible Study? Happy New Year, Cyndi! I love having your blog to look forward to every morning!

  3. Hi I would love to join the bible study but I do not have Facebook due to work. Can I still participate? Please let me know
    Thank you

  4. I would love to study about hope! I just stumbled upon your website yesterday and it has really encouraged me. That you love Jesus but really like to look nice has given me hope that it’s not wrong. Thank you!!!

  5. I’m interested in your Bible study on Hope. I really enjoy your blog and the variety you show with your outfits, as well as the fact they are chic yet appropriate.

  6. I’d like to know about the Bible study. That’s a great way to start the new year! Thanks for the inspiration and style advice you provide us all year! It’s much appreciated!

  7. I think your blog is wonderful especially for younger women, I have to ask, do you ever feel guilty about all this emphasis on clothing and fashion? How do you keep it in perspective? I am not criticizing because I have a ministry to encourage women to wear color and fashion that is right for them. I am a Christian speaker and Bible study leader. I believe as Christians we should be excellent in everything. I think it sends the wrong message when we wear revealing clothing or look just plain sloppy like the Lord doesn’t take wonderful care of His daughters. Anyway, just wondering as we contemplate making His priorities OURS this new year.

    1. I would love to join this bible study…I have never done one online, BUT, have heard of women doing them…my favorite word is HOPE!!!

  8. I would love to be a part of your bible study but I don’t do Facebook. So if I could participate by email count me in ❤️

  9. I so need some HOPE! It’s been a very difficult couple of years in my family. I was just crying today wondering where is God in all this mess.

    1. Definitely interested in your Bible Study! Who can’t use more hope for the new year? BTW, your blog is a wonderful blessing. I really enjoy it! Thanks!

  10. Cyndi, I feel honored and blessed to have the opportunity to belong to a bible study group of women who want to get closer to the Lord and do God’s good work. Please count me in. Thank you, Kathi

  11. WOW, Cyndi! You probably don’t need my vote…….you have had such a huge response but I would love to do the Hope Bible Study. Thanks for being such a “light for Jesus” to all of these women.

  12. I would be interested in a Bible Study on HOPE!! I also like the idea of the FB page where we could all discuss and encourage one another!

  13. I’m also interested in a Bible study on Hope but I’m not on Facebook so would like it in my email if possible. Thanks so much & happy 2016!!

  14. I am interested in the Bible study but like others, I would like it in my email. Your blog is a blessing to me . Thank you for all the time and effort you expend.

  15. Considering how long I had it scroll down to send a “please do an online bible study – reply” ….seems that all you have left to do is agree!!!! Pope Francis has called for 2016 to be a year of Mercy, but I believe mercy and hope go hand in hand.

  16. What a great idea! I would totally be interested in your bible study on HOPE. We can all use that for the upcoming year!

  17. Looks like you’ve got quite a bible study group going on here 😉!! Yes I would also be interested. I love your topic for today – starting the new year with no regrets. For quite a while I have been trying to start each day with that very thought in mind. We never know how many days we have, and for me, especially a year ago, several of my dear high school classmates passed away, and now 3 of my family members. A year ago I took a long, deep, hard look at my own life and decided to make some changes – what was I “waiting” for – now was the time. Looking back on that year of change, I am so grateful for how far I have come, and the changes for the better, I have made. God has stood right by me every step, I would not be where I am right now, except through Him! I am looking forward with much anticipation to the new year ahead!!

  18. I would love to be part of such a group. Thank you for your posts everyday!!! I really needed to see the post you sent today!

  19. I am so thankful for so many things this year. Its been tough but God has seen me through. I remember this time last i was getting ready to have surgery. After my surgery while i was home recovering i came across one of your pins. God lead me to your blogg and i am glad he did. You give me so much encouragement which i pass on to my friends. Thank you for being who you are and sharing you faith n wisdom with me. Bible study sounds good. Will i need to sign up for FB to join ?
    Blessings
    Nicki

  20. I would love to do a bible study. I always have good intentions of joining one at church and haven’t in a while. One online would be really nice.

  21. I would love to participate in your Bible Study, but I’m not on Facebook. If there is another format, please count me in. Thank you!!

  22. I think it’s unfortunate that the only way to participate in things is to be on face book. I know so many people that waste so much time on Facebook or get involved in drama that my husband and I have chose to not join. 😕

  23. Very interested in your bible study but I am not on Facebook. I would love to participate in some other format.
Love your blog and faith messages!!

  24. Yes, I would love to be included in your Bible study on Hope. I’ve been struggling since I lost my husband 3 years ago, and this Bible study might be exactly what I need. It would be a great way to start 2016. Thank you so much for offering this study.

  25. I would love to participate in the Bible study, but I am not on Facebook. Is there any way to still participate? Thanks for remembering those not on Facebook! 🙂

    1. I would love to do the bible study with you on hope. We need this so much in today’s world. I work retail hours so I never get to participate in bible study groups because we can never have set schedules. They change every week. So this would be idea to be a part of a this so that we could share together and learn together. Thank you for sharing your faith.

  26. I would love to join the Hope Bible Study! I am so thankful for your daily thoughts and words of encouragement and faith. God Bless You, Cyndi!

    Amy

  31. Count me in for the Bible study – could use a big dose of hope right about now! If you decide to do it, please let us know how to join.

  32. Your words today speak louder to me than you will ever know. The new year will undoubtably bring me heartache and pain as I enter the turbulent storm we all know called divorce. I know in my heart he is bringing me to it but that he will also be at the end of the tunnel waiting for me. A bible study would be wonderful and I would look forward to fashion updates with inspirational thoughts from the bible.
