I have had several people ask me what is LIKEtoKNOW.it? How does it work?? I love it and use it myself so I thought I better explain it to you.

LIKEtoKNOW.it is the first and only Instagram solution that allows you to receive all of my outfit details straight to your inbox, where you can easily click and peruse.

In reality, it’s the only way to offer Instagram followers of fashion bloggers exactly what they always want to know—outfit details—in the most convenient and efficient way possible.

I follow quite a few fashion bloggers. I’m not able to visit all their blogs but I love “liking” their photos on Instagram and getting their outfit details in my inbox!

  1. I’ve had an Instagram account nearly 2 years…I follow Corgis and post mostly pics of my Corgi…yesterday I posted a pic of my Corgi and hashtagged him with trucks and America because he was in my husband’s truck and with in seconds, I was being followed by several male accounts…weird!…follow some fashion but I don’t dig too deep in it.

  2. I’m 56 and also like to keep up. And I honestly just think social media is so much fun.

I’m not getting emails from LIketoKnowit. Maybe I have to click via phone, not computer? I’m at a computer all day at work and actually read your stuff (and Instagram) more that way than on my phone – it’s easier. I am not on Instagram a lot, frankly, and do find it all a bit overwhelming.

It makes me sad that it has to be an age thing. I joined Facebook to keep up with my 20-something stepchildren, one of whom was in Iraq at the time. I have since left them in the dust with tons of OTHER FB friends, from various places I have lived, who literally now live all over the world. Family-wise I mostly keep track of – and brag about – our grandchildren on Facebook. I also love Facebook GROUPS.

Seems to me Tumblr and SnapChat are for the kids – and they can have them. 🙂

  3. I like to use Instagram. I am seletive about whom I follow.mi find that Pottery Barn, Homegoods, TJ Maxx, Tuesday Maorning, my favorite bloggers and my friends that use are just the right amount for me. I love looking at the beautiful Instagram pictures. They are crisp and colorful. You can follow me Cyndi at lorwatkins.

  4. When I click through your link, there is only a sign in, no registration. Do I need to download an app or something? This old lady is still confused!

  5. Hi Cyndi! I a, so excited for Johnathon and the family. I enjoy watching The Voice, but it comes on at the same time my husband & I have another show we both enjoy, so I’ll have to watch after they air. While I am anxious to find out how far he made it, I’m also curious about how far out they tape the shows. Im sure it doesn’t take as long as they drag it out on TV.

For now, I’m going to stick with following you on FB, Instagram, and via email. I do good to keep up now.

    I hope you’re having a blessed Saturday!

  6. That is exciting. Didn’t you sister adopt a baby recently from another country? I remember a post months ago concerning that.

  7. I have an Instagram account but never look at it. It seems like it would be very time consuming to follow a lot of people and see everything they post. I know it’s the latest and greatest but I just haven’t grabbed hold.

  8. I remember about six years ago when I got a Facebook account and my college daughter complained one weekend, “Mama, you have more friends than me! Facebook is becoming something for older people.” Ha! I do enjoy it – primarily to keep up with “old” friends who live far away from me.

With every good thing, there are those who make it into bad. A friend last night (in her thirties, 3 beautiful kids) announced she was deleting her Facebook account as she found her pictures on an online dating site and couldn’t remove them. She said they were obtained from her profile pics – even though she had them set to private, for only her friends to see. I don’t understand enough about the workings of social media to deal with something like that, and I hope safeguards are there to keep things like that from happening. I understand why she’s upset.

I haven’t done Instagram or Twitter yet. I sometimes feel I spend too much time on Facebook as it is. Perhaps I need to investigate them more. Thanks for the explanation.

    1. Hi Suzanne! I understand your concern and it is definitely a concern. My girlfriends husband is a cop. He has said numerous times that once you post something on social media, picture or not, it will ALWAYS be in cyber land. Even if it is a “snap chat”, which is something you send to someone and it’s deleted only minutes after you send it. Nothing is ever truly gone. We unfortunately, live in a world where people do what happened to your friend. So sorry this happened to her. ;-(

  9. Such a timely post. I would really like advice on my 13 year old son using this. He’s been begging and I’ve been saying no. Is it safe? Can you filter out things that you don’t want to see? Can you monitor him? I have facebook but I’m just not a fan of social media.

  10. Cyndi, is there a way to sign up for liketoknowit without allowing them access to all my info including friends list? I don’t like to do that to my friends :). I have started to sign up so many times because I get so irritated if I can’t get product info but I change my mind every time I get to that part of signing up!

    1. I’m wondering the same thing. I went to sign up but not sure why they need access to my photos and friends. Do you know why, Cyndi?

  11. I’m over 50 and already have an Instagram account and have signed up for LiketoKnowit. 🙂 #justtryingtokeepup. Love your inspiration today, prayer is my lifeline! My anchor! Have a wonderful and blessed day! Thanks for helping us all keep up with technology!

  12. Hi Cyndi… Ha ha that is exactly what my 18 year old daughter told me… “Instagram is for us younger people”… I guess I will have to prove her wrong, but right now I have a lot of “Spring” things to mark off my “Mom’s List”. But I will look into this ….. God Bless
