27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old Navy

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’m styling a pastel outfit today but I’ll be wearing green. I styled this green top from Glamour Farms a few weeks ago and it’s perfect for today.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old Navy

It’s Day 15 of my 27 Days of Spring Fashion with Jo-Lynne Shane. Today I’m styling the Harper pant from Old Navy. I had not tried this pant before and was pleasantly surprised with this style.

(Old Navy is offering and extra 17% off online only today for St. Patrick’s Day!)

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old NavyThe Harper pant sits above the waist, is straight through the hip and thigh and has a straight leg (not as skinny as the pixie pant). The Harper pant also comes in plus size. (I do think this pant run a little big, I ordered down one size.)

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old NavyI love wearing my trench coat this time of year when the weather is cool.

I wore a pair of nude heels but nude flats would be perfect for work wear.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old NavyI added this bucket handbag (color is storm grey) from JCPenney.

27 Days of Spring Fashion: The Harper Pant from Old NavyIf you didn’t want to wear a dress on Easter Sunday, I think this outfit would work.

  1. Hi Cyndi I don’t know if anyone else is having problems with your website but it is Saturday and this is the most recent post that I can get today.

  2. I recently bought some blush jeans from Chicos (if you haven’t tried their pants you should). 🙂

Anyway I’m trying to figure out what color top to wear with them other than white. Cyndi or anyone have any suggestion??

    Thanks!

  3. This is really cute. This look works for my office. I pinned this outfit to my inspiration board for a work outfit. 🙂

  4. I love this outfit. I needed some ideas for our visit up North to family for Passover next month, and this will be perfect. I just wish my nude pumps didn’t hurt so much!

  5. Cyndi – I have been receiving your emails for about a month now. I love reading your scriptures and I love that the clothes you style are accessible AND affordable! I was going to mention the Harper pant to you so I’m glad it works for you. I purchased a black pair last year and really liked them. I ordered the ‘blushin up’ about a month ago but am ‘saving them’ til after Easter! I like the white top with them. I wanted to wear mine to work so that gives me another option. I’m excited to wear mine! I have a navy and white stripe top from Old Navy – similar to the pink one you styled a while back -that I plan to wear them with and I found a really cute pink necklace at Charming Charlie. I also order a pair in the Palomino color and am expecting them in a few days! Thanks for all the great ideas!

  6. Love the verse and the outfit. Thats my kind of easter outfit.,especially the top. Is it old? Where did u get it ?
    Cheers
    Nicki

  7. Cyndi, I work at JCP and love when you style items from them. I didn’t even know we sold that purse and had to run out to the floor (I work in the office) and put it on hold. It’s really cute!! Unfortunately the white top is sold out. Thank you for writing this blog, I look forward to it everyday!!

  8. Love the outfits Cyndi! So am I alone in this or has anyone else had this issue: On my iphone, which how I usually view your blog Cyndi, your blog is stuck on the Easter Dress post. I have tried several times to go to HOME or another spot on your blog site and go back to home and it just keeps pulling up the Easter Dress as the latest post. Is something up or is it just my phone? Thanks! Oh, and Cyndi, I love the updo you’ve been sporting!

  9. Love, love, love this outfit, Cyndi! You look so classy, and chic. You truly are beautiful inside and out.
I love the top you’re wearing, but realize it’s out of stock. Thank you for posting the option top. I just purchased two of them. They’re 25% off today. 🙂

  10. Cyndi, I have noticed after reading your blogs for several years that you used to wear a size 10 in pants but now you are in a 4. How much weight have you lost? I couldn’t actually tell from looking back at the pictures that you had lost that much. If you have, what diet are you following and how much do you exercise?

    1. There are a couple of reasons. 1. when I first started blogging, I was wearing my clothes too big. I found that out after taking pictures and many times my readers would say it looks too big.
      2. I changed my lifestyle habits. I eat much healthier, exercise and use essential oils. I haven’t lost a lot of weight but I’m in better shape.
I don’t diet, I eat healthy food most of the time. I rarely eat sweets and I cut out diet coke several years ago. I don’t eat a lot of bread either.
I think I need to write some posts on all this 🙂
      Cyndi

  11. I’m going to ON today! I’ve got to get some pants for work! This outfit would actually be VERY dressy at my church – even for a Sunday morning :). So sad the blouse isn’t available – LOVE it! again, like yesterday, so feminine. Your spring choices have been beautiful – so inspiring – now, if I could only wear the same size as you…

  12. Beautiful looks, today! I really like the look of the ON pants. I normally wear a dress for Easter, but I’m wearing an outfit similar to yours, except my slacks are a coral color, and the top a light cream color with lace details. I’m pairing it with nude heels and a long strand of pearls.

    Happy St Patrick’s Day!! 🍀🍀

  13. Ps… hee hee love the first pic of the green blouse… as i was in Lexington on Sir Barton Way at Barns & Nobles Bookstore…. and bought a Starbucks with “green label and straw… LOL love to match!!

  14. Hi Cyndi,
Love this work outfit and yes, it would make a great Easter Sunday outfit for an evening service, more relaxed yet quite fancy and feminine, since my “work” outfits consist of more “work” wear then leisure (I’m a caregiver with KRADD of KY.) You are adorable in this outfit!! Love Beauty for the Heart and it reminded me of the song that I love to hear, it is an old song but I love to hear it sung by Leann Rimes “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow”
    I love the lyrics….
    I don’t know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
And I don’t borrow from its sunshine
‘Cause the skies might turn to grey.
And I don’t worry about the future,
‘Cause I know what Jesus said,
And today I’m gonna walk right beside him
‘Cause he’s the one who knows what is ahead.
    There are things about tomorrow
That I don’t seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
God Bless, Happy St. Patric’s Day!! 3-17-2016
