I have to say I like different style of clothes. I like the boho look, I like clothes with lace detail, I like bold colors and I like neutrals but I’m also a huge fan of a classic look.
This outfit today falls under the classic work wear fashion. All these pieces can be styled with different pieces so they’re good to have in your wardrobe. (FYI these are all from Loft and everything is on sale!)
I love a blazer and this navy blue one from Loft is my favorite one right now. I’ve worn it with jeans, dresses and dress pants. It’s super versatile!
These Target wedges are my favorite and you all might be getting tired of seeing them. They go with so many outfits. They run true to size if you order them.

Beauty For the Heart~~There are several places on my heart this morning that our in the news and experiencing devastation.
One is the earthquake in Ecquador. The images are hard to look at and the loss of life is unbelieveable. My sister sponsors a child from Compassion Int. from Ecquador and at this time we don’t know if he is alive.
Also the Houston, Texas area is experiencing flooding and so many people have water in their homes and there has been loss of life.
Join me today as we pray for these areas.“But in my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.” Psalm 18:6

My comment is alittle different. While your outfit choices are great and very classy and age appropriate, I live your hairstyle! I have a difficult time finding a happy medium between slightly lifted hair yet not flat! 😞. You’ve nailed it! Thumbs up! Can you give alittle insight on your hair regimen please?

I love this outfit. I think I tried these pants on and found them HUGE in the waist – once they fit over my hips. I read the other comments and others seem to love them so I’m sad…they are so cute. I’m on the hunt for pants that will fit my very pear shape. 🙂
Does anyone else have an issue with LOFT sizing? Sometimes I’m a medium and sometimes medium is too big but small is too small. Same issue with their jeans size 8 vs. size 6. I hate it because sometimes I love the style but can’t find the right fit.
Hey, Gina…I’m in the same boat…lol…Loft is my go to place, I love to shop there especially when there’s a good sale. However, too feel the same way as you about their sizes. Sometimes, medium fits perfectly and other times it’s too big and the small is a bit fitted, which I personally don’t mind. I’d rather wear my clothes more fitted than too baggy. I wish the would offer size “small & a half” that would be ideal for me! Ha…All of my jeans from Loft are the modern skinny in size 4, but I wish I would’ve purchased size 2 since there is quite a bit of stretch to them.

Cyndi…..I have that top….ACTUALLY….I have it in the white, the pale blue, the deco print…AND this stripe….purchased the white first and loved the fit so returned for the others. This is a very lightweight sweater they call a Tee….I like that it is not tight, but not boxy either ….lightweight and sheer and requires a cami, yet not cheap looking and not the usual t-shirt material…..in my mind it’s a young fit while being forgiving……hard to find and hence the reason I went back for more. I’ve washed 3 of them so far and they came out fine. I haven’t snagged any yet with jewelry but I think if you’re not careful that could be an issue.
I love you post. I am 50 years old and Loft is my favorite place to shop as well. Your post is uplifting and our style is so much alike. I love to see how you put things together.

Cyndi, I’m a big Loft fan myself and love their look. However, I’m noticing some quality changes in their clothing these days, particularly in the knits. I’m so very careful with our laundry and never dry clothes, yet the shirts seem to stretch out of shape. I spot cleaned a new shirt this past week and the color lightened in that area. Are you noticing anything yourself?

Praying for all affected by these devastating events that they do not give up hope even though the situation seems so hopeless. Hold on to the promises of God for He tells us, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28. I found out the true meaning of this verse after I lost my home/city in Hurricane Katrina. For me, things seemed so hopeless and so overwhelming that I couldn’t fathom how my family would get through it because life as we knew it in New Orleans changed. BUT, even in the darkest times, He is faithful. The love, prayers, and support of complete strangers was His shining light during that time. May God bless all from Houston to Ecquador. When there looks like there is no way, God makes a way!
