There a few things I’m crazy over when it comes to fashion and tassels are one of them. Throw a tassel on something and I can’t resist it.
This top is adorable for spring although our weather doesn’t feel very springy. It’s windy and cool and my hair is wild in these pictures because it’s blowing.

After I posted the above picture, several of you asked about my lipcolor. Maybelline Warm Me Up is my go to lip color.
I add Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie gloss in rebel. I always use some kind of lip liner and right now I’m using Bobbi Brown Rose color.
I steer away from dark lip color because I don’t feel it looks good on me. Supposedly, dark lip color ages women over 40 but I know some women still love their dark lip color.

Not sure if you read comments on previous blog posts – but I’m catching up with my reading. Anyway, Isaiah 26:3 always makes me think of 2 Cor. 10:5. Thinking about your Mother’s Day talk – this verse in 2 Cor. has helped me when thoughts come up about my past sins. – Take those thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. The truth of Christ that assures me that I am forgiven and I am His. Hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day!

Ironically today when I saw your photos taken along a horse fence, I knew I had to figure out where in Kentucky you live. As we lived in Danville, KY for 4 years, I wondered if you were photographed near a horse farm between Harrodsburg and Midway . We are enjoying our life in Kansas because God provided for us to move close to our two little grandsons. I must say I do miss the stacked stone fences found in Boyle and near Mercer county.

Love the entire outfit. Fitting that you talk about peace because I’m in need of it. My mom received a cancer diagnosis this week and with it being Mother’s Day weekend and my youngest child is graduating from high school — I’m a mess emotionally.

I love most embellishments and tassels are no exception!! In the past I probably would have passed on these—I would have thought they were too young—but ever since blogging (and the iwillwearwhatilike campaign) I figure life it too short to worry about those issues—-wear the tassels!!!
