Good morning from Nashville, Tennessee! Actually we are in Franklin, but it’s close. My sister and her son Jonathan were taking a quick trip to Franklin (Jonathan was the one on The Voice and he is doing some songwriting) and they asked me to tag along.
While Jonathan is doing his thing, Traci and I are going to shop in Franklin. I’ll be back home tonight, I said it was a quick trip!
I shared this picture on Snapchat. I try to snapchat some, I like the platform because you can share anything and it doesn’t have to be perfect like Instagram. I’m cyndispivey on Snapchat if you want to follow. Isn’t Jonathan adorable??
This past weekend, I stopped in Marshall’s and found this cute hello summer bag. I couldn’t find the exact one online but it’s made by Straw Studios and JCPenney has a straw one from the same company that I like even better.
Several of you asked about my gold earrings that I wear all the time. I purchased them at a store called Bevello and they don’t have them online. Ugh!
In the summer I like to wear a lace cami. I think they look cute under sleeveless tops.
Let’s talk about my wedges. I’m a shoe girl! It’s my weakness and I love, love shoes. I think shoes can make an outfit. While I feel I can’t wear all the trendy styles because of my age, shoes can give any outfit a younger look.
I haven’t mentioned this yet but I have been trying the Trunk Club. Trunk club is a styling service and they send you clothes to try. No styling charge and it’s free shipping both ways. It’s definitely worth trying! I got my black halogen pants in my last trunk and I love them!
This time I got these Dolce Vita wedges and I had a weak moment and kept them. While they are more expensive than what I usually purchase, I really like them. I’m going to have to tell my stylist not to send shoes. #icannotsayno
My floral pants are from Banana Republic. I purchased them on one of their 40% off sales. I love these and I’m looking for a cute neon yellow top to wear with them too.

I would love to see a post about how you use Trunk Club. I’ve tried it a couple of times and the prices seem very high for me. Curious as to whether or not you have some tips on how to best use this service.
I was looking for a neon yellow top too and found one today at JCPenney! It is Worthington and cap sleeves with a ruffle and buttons down the front. It would look great with your pants. Plus, JC Penney has their friends and family sale going on right now!
My best friend in Franklin and I LOVE to visit her. Downtown is wonderful. If you all have time, drive out to Leiper’s Fork and have lunch at the original Puckett’s. It is worth the trip, and the drive out is beautiful!
I almost purchased those same wedge when they were on sale! Now that I see them on your feet I’m sorry I didn’t. They look great on you!

LOVE NASHVEGAS!!!! Actually headed there next week for our daughters college registration. I went to college in Nashville and our son is currently living there and going to college as well. We plan to retire to Nashville eventually. While your in Franklin if you go to The Factory be sure to stop by The Little Cottage. It is a darling children’s boutique owned by one of my best friends, her sister and mom. Traci might find something cute to take when she goes to get her sweet little girl.♥♥♥ Enjoy your getaway!!!
Hi Cyndi. I’m with you on the shoes-a great way to keep up with trends! They were the first thing I purchased this week when my shopping freeze ended. Those and accessories are a quick and easy way to update our wardrobe. I have been wanting to try Trunk Club!! I just ordered my first Stitch Fix box because I wanted to get in a couple of client experiences before I start my styling job with them. 🙂 I will have to check out this snap chat thing because Instagram seems so intimidating– so much pressure to get a perfect looking picture!
