Summer Fashion – Two Cute Tops

It has been a crazy few days as we are trying to get home from Cuba. I am in Miami today and will be flying home later this afternoon. I am a little tired. Ha!

Today I’m sharing two cute tops from Glamour Farms. The first one is the Adele Piko top. I’m wearing the khaki color but it also comes in black, coral, ivory, mint and royal blue.

The piko top has a dolman style sleeve and a straight hem. It’s free flowing and super comfortable. This top will be perfect to wear through fall.

The next top is the Ellis Floral Top, and is a cut out shoulder top. This style top has been very popular this summer and I love this floral print.

Beauty For the Heart~~My heart is breaking today for Nice, France. Not only were adults killed but many children. This is my prayer for all of us…

“When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice.” Deuteronomy 4:30

Have a blessed day!

  1. I’ve been reading your blog for years! I just placed my first order with Glamour Farms using your discount code. Thanks for showing your fashion pieces. I love how you can attempt to dress modestly but at the same time look attractive!

    Your fellow sister in Christ…

  2. I agree with Lynn. You don’t have to leave the USA to see poverty Our Native American population is forgotten in many respects. We are living in the greatest country due to the sacrifice of many. We need to start at home to take care of our fellow Americans

    1. Pat you are right, we do need to take care of our fellow Americans. I have not specifically helped with the Native Americans but I have done missions in the country. Act 1:8 says,” But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
I take that to mean that we are to be missionaries in our state, our country and all over the world.
      Blessings,
      Cyndi

  3. Glad you and your husband made it back safe.We are blessed for all we have ,so we have to pray for those that don’t. I often think how we take ever thing for granite.

  4. Glad you are back, Cyndi. I share your heartache over the horrific events going on in France and elsewhere in the world–as well as in our own country. I just pray that God will open the eyes of world leaders to the fact that love and compassion for our fellow man will accomplish so much more that violence ever will…

  5. Got that first top in exact same color a few months ago and love it. Very cute with skinny jeans and heels for date night with the hubby!

  6. Love the pike top!! You always look so cute and put together!!! Hope your trip was excellent!

  7. Thinking and praying for all those in beautiful Nice France🇫🇷💔 It makes everything else very unimportant.
Lovely to have you back Cyndi😘

    1. Hi Lauren,
The code is working. Did you use spivey715? It’s one word with no space between Spivey and 715.
      Hope that helps!

  8. Love both tops, especially the cold shoulder. Wish I knew you were here in Miami, I could have shared over a cup of Cuban coffee with you! Safe travels to your home later today. I believe seeing the struggles of our brothers and sisters in third world countries helps open our eyes and, if we let it, changes us to become better Christians. We let our daughter go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic when she was in high school and the experience touched her so deeply and was the greatest influence on her becoming a nurse who compassionately serves the suffering. God Bless You!

  9. I love both tops-so cute!! Cyndi, your hair always looks so great. Can you share your hairstyling tips and products that you use?

  10. Tried to order the Piko top using the promo code. It aside I didn’t qualify. Do I need to spend a certain amount?

  11. I have a hard time getting on board with most of the cold-shoulder tops because they tend to be skimpy and make me feel naked. I really like this one it looks great on you and is modest. Have been thinking about you traveling and praying for a safe final leg of your journey home. Thanks for the verse. I have an ongoing battle with the beast of depression/anxiety and with the world gone crazy it is so hard for me to stay positive. It helps to remember the One who is in control.

  12. I haven’t been a fan of the cold-shoulder tops but this one just might change my mind! Thank you for your beauty for the heart – it really hits home today. Praying for safe travel. And congratulations to you on the ‘arrival’ of your new niece, Sania Louise!

  13. Tell me Cyndi, is Cuba really a third world country? I guess the people don’t live like you in the US and me in the EU, but I don’t think the country in general is as poor as some African countries. What do jou think?

    1. I did a big trip of the USA a couple of years ago, and saw people living in the same conditions as Cindys photos. Poverty pockets in all parts of the world. I agree it’s not Africa, parts of Asia or living in a tent on the ?Syrian border.

  14. I love that piko top! I will have to check those out!
So glad you made it back to America safely. Conintued prayers for a safe trip home. I hope you’ll be sharing some of your experience there!
