Sleeveless Top-Summer to Fall

Happy Friday ladies! First let me say thank you for all the birthday wishes. I spent most of my birthday driving to Atlanta for the Haven Conference but it was still a great day and I’m ready to rock the 50s!

Today I’m sharing a sleeveless top. It has a floral and bird print with blues, corals and green on an ivory background.

Many of you like workwear outfits so I added black pants and I did a front tuck. After looking at the pictures, I feel like I should have tucked it all the way in my pants. Live and learn!

Sleeveless Top-Summer to Fall
I’m wearing a small and it fits great on the top but it was a little snug through my hips so that’s why I tucked it in.

Sleeveless Top-Summer to FallThis top is a beautiful summer piece that will transition into fall with a favorite cardigan or denim jacket. I added this blue cardigan that will be perfect for early fall.

  1. Happy Belated Birthday! Love your blog! Also enjoyed the style challenge and look forward to the next one!
Question – I love the look of the long cardigans but hesitate purchasing one bc I don’t feel like they look good on me. I am 5’6″, wear a size 10 on average and feel like they make me look our of proportion or something. Any suggestions on choosing the right one?

  2. Happy belated birthday Cyndi. I love the outfit you were drying on Friday. I slso, love your blog. I would love to find a blog that styled petit fashion. I have a Wonderful Sunday! Blessings, Linda.

  3. Happy Birthday Cyndi may you have many more. I love the shirt that you have style to day,and the cardigan is such a beautiful color. Great for the fall .

  4. A belated Happy Birthday Cyndi! My birthday was yesterday also and I turned 58. Time goes so quickly we must enjoy each day. I have been following you for several months and I look forward to the styles you wear. Thanks so much for the ideas. I have the blue cardigan you styled today and it is very pretty and comply.

  5. I LOVE that cardigan! Where did you get it? I know you said it’s sold out, but I’ m wondering where it’s from anyway. The one you suggested is also gone:(

  6. I love the outfit I never think to wear a sleeveless top under anything thank you for that. Hope you have fun on your trip. Enjoyed the quote today.

  7. Happy Belated Birthday. I love reading your post and I love your taste. You look marvelous & are truly a blessed woman of God.

  8. Hi Cyndi,
Wondered if you could give some advice on the right length of cardigan based on your size. I am 5’1″ tall and wonder if the cardigan you are wearing is too long for me? Thanks for your help.

  9. Happy belated birthday, Cyndi!

I just ordered the floral top with those sweet birds! I have a blue fly-away cardigan that will match perfectly! I plan to style them with black pants, as you have done. Thanks!

    Stay beautiful!

  10. When was your birthday?? Mine is August 3rd and I just turned 49…one more year!:) You look 40 and are beautiful inside and out!:) Happy belated birthday!:)

  11. Love your blog and style! I am wondering how to master this half-tuck thing. I have what my dad calls a “gymnast’s” body – broad shouldered, smaller waist, thick legs(thighs and calves). The “girls” are pretty full now, too. All of the cute current styles are “flowy” tops. I have to have something to define my waist or I look quite a bit larger than I am. I really like a kimono top or dolman that fits through the waist and hips. Hard to find many of those. Any suggestions? Do you always wear a belt when half-tucking?

  12. Happy belated 50th Cindy!
Good that you are ready for these years.

I’m following your and Jo-Lynne’s blogs since a few weeks, great work! Thanks for all the inspirations.
Because I’m in Germany I’m happy to be lucky in finding stores for grabbing clothes and shoes similar to yours. But some are even the same.

Enjoy the conference & have a safe drive home.
    Have a nice weekend.
    All the best,
    Jeanne-Alice

  13. Hi Cyndi! Happy Birthday!! I have followed you for several months now and we are the same coloring in skin and hair… The same size and almost the same age… Because of all of the similarities I have easily incorporated some of your wardrobe ideas in my wardrobe!! I look forward to your spiritual blog and fashion every day!

I love your black pants and forgot where you purchased them. I love when you incorporate dress pants, casual pants or blazers and jackets… basically any workwear. I am a jeans girl though ~ and they are my favorite. You are an inspiration ~ I feel like I know you! Take Care!!

  14. happy birthday. I thought you had taken a birthday off yesterday since there was no newsletter but it sounds like there was absolutely a hugely busy day.
the style show with Glamour Farms for the Haven DIYers sounds like a real treat for them. ,
when you mentioned the challenge with the top re the snugness through the hips and would be tucking it in, I wondered what the comfort level will be and how you usually resolve this sort of challenge. too many articles like this (challenges) hang in ones closet and I always wonder just what cleverness others conjure up. am I the only unclever person who relegates them to a donation box ? I have tried many redo’s but they always look like redo’s

  15. Happy birthday, Cyndi. Thank you for sharing God’s word with us today. Such a beautiful reminder to always give thanks to the One who loves us more than anyone else. Have a wonderful time in Georgia with your Glamour Farm gals. Love the blue cardigan. I got it after you styled it last spring and have gotten a lot of use out of it.

  16. Happy Birthday Cyndi! I can only hope to look as adorable as you and I’m only 37! Love this outfit and how it can transition from summer to fall. I do like the front tuck 🙂 Have a blessed day today!

  17. Happy 50th Cindi! Love your blog! I’ve been following you now for several months and I want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to me! Maybe I can wear some of these styles you look so beautiful in! Keep it up and God Bless You!

  18. Oh geez. I intended to wish you a happy birthday yesterday. Well, happy belated birthday Cyndi! Welcome to the 50s club where you will know doubt rock it! Wish I could be at Haven this weekend. Can’t wait to read all about it on your blog!

  19. Happy birthday by the way even though I’m a day late and a dollar short. Ha. You look great. I love Glamour Farms. That’s my no. one store thanks to you. Never had heard of it. I love them there. I can’t wait to go there and meet them. They seem like family to me in helping this 58 yr. old to keep in style. Most of all I love your heart for the Lord. Thank you so much. 😄❤️🙏

  20. So disappointed not to be able to purchase the blue cardigan. I really like the whole outfit and was going to buy every piece but without the cardigan it doesn’t make sense…Thanks for the post

  21. I love the clothes from Glamour Girls Farm, however they need to have some larger sizes, (busty/fluffy girl here)! I see you style soo many cute items and I click on sizing and am extremely disappointed.

    1. Cindee I’m sorry, they do have the curvy size but I know they don’t always have it in what I’m wearing.
      Thanks for stopping by!
      Cyndi

  22. I was hoping you would style the blue cardigan again. I bought it back in the spring when you first styled it and love it! You always have the best ideas that I would never think of.

You make 50 look great. You could easily pass for 30! Enjoy the conference.

  23. Cyndi,

I love that cardigan and I bought it when you styled it before, Cant wait to wear it this Fall. It will work with a lot of different pants and shirts! You always look so stylish in your clothes. I have purchased many things that I might not have considered after I saw you wearing them. Love the shoes too, I have a similar pair with no straps!

  24. So glad I purchased that blue cardigan! It is so soft and comfy :), and I’m looking forward to wearing it again.
