Sweater Cardigan with Elbow Patches

Okay, hang on ladies, because it’s the last weekend of October! What?? How did that happen?? Before we know it we’ll be putting the pumpkins away and decorating our Christmas tree. Yep, I just said it.

Well let’s slow down a little and enjoy this weekend. I really want to wear this outfit but I have already worn it twice this week (you do that sometimes too, right?) Three days might be pushing it!

This sweater cardigan with elbow patches is perfect for a fall day. It’s so soft and I added a striped shirt with tan booties.

Without getting too technical, I can’t use my gmail.com email address to send emails. They tag it as spam. I had to buy my own email address.

That address is cyndi@graceandbeautystyle.com. If you could add this to your address book, that would definitely help!

Beauty for the Heart~~I love this quote by Charles Swindoll, “We aren’t just thrown on this earth like dice tossed across a table. We are lovingly placed here for a purpose.”

If you are wondering if you have a purpose let me assure you, you do! You are not here on this earth by accident. Walk in confidence today knowing you are here for a purpose and loved by God.

The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Psalm 138:8a

Have a blessed day!

  1. I have around twenty shoe boxes to fill. Need to get on it. Ive been buying items for awhile. I dread wrapping all those shoe boxes. Thats why i havent filled them. My weekend project

  2. My church is also doing the Christmas shoe boxes. I had the privilege of hearing a young lady speak at an associational meeting in my area who received a shoe box as a child. She related how special it was and important this ministry is. She was adopted and now lives in TN.

  3. Your day sounds a lot like mine! We did Operation Christmas child last year with my work team and it was such a rewarding experience! Being in Charlotte we have a major operation center here and it was amazing to see how the program makes it all happen! Love this outfit and your blog! Debbie

  4. Super cute outfit! Just wish the weather here in Alabama would decide to turn cooler for sweaters. I do have a new cold shoulder top that will be perfect for these warm days.. Enjoy your weekend!

  5. Love the camel sweater and my favorite part is the longer back!!! I am going to order the olive since I already own a lovely camel cape/sweater!

    Enjoy the weekend!!

  6. What a fun cardigan…love the whole look. But today, I am all about those booties! Comfy and cute and just the color I’m looking for!

  7. Cyndi, you always look so beautiful. I ordered the cardi in both colors. So cute. Thank you for the daily devotionals. Have a Blessed day.

  8. Could you please send me information on Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. I would love to do something like that in my town. Thank you!
You look radiant as usual 🙂

  9. Such a comfy, yet put together look! I’m so wanting to wear my sweaters, and boots, and stuff, BUT it has gotten warm – really warm (low 80’s) here in Knoxville – ugh! Thanks for always sharing great items Cyndi! Have a fun and blessed weekend.

  10. Of course, I wear the same things—because so much of the time, I only wear something for a couple hours–so it’s not really dirty, and thus I keep it out for another day!!
I love the elbow patches—it reminds me of a DIY I once did with sequined patches—they didn’t stay very well though!!
Your outfit is perfect for a day running errands—any of the three of us would wear it easliy!!
    Happy Friday Cyndi!

  11. I’m filling my Operation Christmas Child shoebox right now too!!! I’ve taken my granddaughter who is 5 years old with me to shop for the things for the past 2 or 3 years and she already understands the significance of helping those who have so little. One of my favorite ministries.

  12. phew ! what a day you have planned. I really like a sweater that has the side slits. nice being able to have good movement and it prevents that awful cupping under ones bottom. I can see why you would find this outfit a good go to outfit. it looks comfortable as well as being dressier than the too casual sweats one can find themselves being drawn to for warmth and comfort. looks great.

  13. What a lovely quote and sentiment – so comforting. Thank you for that as I sure do need it right now! The sandy coloured cardi is gorgeous – so versatile. I’m not normally an olive green person as the colour doesn’t suit me but I really like the gillet/vest and think it’d also go great with lots of neutral shades in my closet. Happy weekend to you and your family, Cyndi!

  14. Good morning Cyndi, love this entire outfit especially the sweater with the elbow patches. Looks great on you! I love the low heel booties, I have 2 pair in the camel and black suede, I’m looking for a denim dress to wear with them. I’m getting ready for work, better go, hope you have a happy safe day!😊

  15. I love the boots and the olive green sweater. I tend to wear my clothes a long time so I don’t know about the el ow patches:-). Have a great weekend with your family. We are headed to the airport now to go to Kentucky to spend time with Matthew’s family.
