The Gifts We Need To Give

christmasMost of us want to find the perfect gifts for our family. Many of us shop all year for gifts and we love seeing the look on their faces when they open them.

Truthfully there are gifts we can give this year that are free. We don’t have to spend any money and they are gifts that will last.

So here are 4 gifts we need to give this Christmas. Give them in abundance!

1. Hugs-it’s so easy and everyone can use a hug!

2. Say I love you-words are powerful and we need to tell our family that we love them. None of us know when our last day on this earth will be so tell the people around you that you love them, and tell them often. You will never regret it.

3. Forgiveness-sometimes we get our feelings hurt or we can hurt someone in our family. Jesus reminds us over and over again to forgive those that have sinned against us.

This Christmas don’t let anything come between you and your family. Life is too short to hold grudges or  have hurt feelings. Forgiveness is a wonderful gift to give!

4. Undivided Attention-Put away your phone, close your laptop and spend undivided time with your family and friends.

Make this your most memorable Christmas with these gifts. Your family will love them!

Pentatonix is on my Christmas playlist. Their voices are amazing! Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!

  1. This is absolutely the best rendition of this song I have ever heard. I love hearing Mark Lowry sing it and others also but the harmony and the talent portrayed in this version is absolutely wonderful!!!! I ordered two of their CD’s recently and cannot wait to get them! Thank you for sharing. I am planning to share this on my website Christmas Eve! Have a wonderful Christmas!

  2. I love Pentatonix. I have their old Christmas CD and just got their new one this year. Both are fun. The amazing thing about them is its all acapella. sp? Its sounds like percussions, drums etc. at times as they sing, but its all done by their voices or clapping etc. Amazing. Thanks for the reminder of gifts to give of ourselves. I am having a problem with forgiveness this year, as tired of the drama and nothing changing with a particular family member. I just have to forgive and forget, no matter how often the offense. This is what Jesus does for me, so I want to follow His example. Have a blessed Sunday, Cyndi.

    1. We don’t have to let others hurt us though. You can have a healthy boundary with this person while also forgiving them in your heart.

      1. Yes, you are so right. Just hard when the offenses are over and over and over. I set the boundaries along time ago and just know I have to keep my distance. Thanks for the reply reminding me. 🙂

        1. You are most welcome. I have to remind myself of this often. It’s something we all struggle with. I wish you a joyful and peaceful Christmas.

  3. Thank you for sharing this song Pentatonix, I will be looking for this as a gift for family members. I will also be sharing this post on my Facebook business page. As I drive my oldest back to college today, I will be talking about the free gifts you shared. She has a roommate that is struggling with her grandma’s death and her dad after many years of him not being apart of her life. She needs hugs, prayers, an I Love You, find forgiveness in her heart, and positive attention from her friends.

    Have a blessed day!
